The host greeted us as we arrived and let us know that we could contact her if we needed anything. There were all the amenities we could possibly need and more. Great location for visiting the beaches and only 10 minutes away from Trinidad. Great experience and we will probably return.

Fabulous little cabin near the Redwoods. Nice added touches like an electric tea pot and a basket of snacks. TV trays for eating at the cabin; felt roomier without a table. No WiFi.

The cottage is in a great location. It is close to the beach and in a good neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our hosts were wonderful in keeping us informed and comforting me about a tsunami warning. They let us know that if we needed to evacuate, they would take us with them! (We were safe from the tsunami because of the height of the home above sea level)We had a great stay!

Charming cottage

What a lovely place to stay to visit Redwood National and State Parks. We also loved the proximity to Trinidad and its amazing restaurants (The Lighthouse Grill and Beachcomber Cafe), the short walk to Agate Beach, and the extra touches provided by the hosts. We would definitely stay there again when in the area! Highly recommend.

This cottage is a great place to stay along California's North Coast. The location is convenient to the ocean and the redwoods (which are just spectacular). The cottage itself is well equipped, comfortable, and just as advertised. Oh and you may be greeted by a cute age friendly cat, Lil Guy (not sure if he's the owner's).

Lovely little cottage

Quiet, clean, cute little cottage is a great base for exploring the Humboldt/Del Norte coast area. Comfy bed, working stovetop and small fridge, and a warm shower are great after a day of hiking and looking for agates on the beach at Sue Meg state park. Just a little drive away from Trinidad, it's quiet at night and we could hear the waves through the kitchen area window.

Highly recommend!

A perfect place to relax in between hiking in Redwood NP and visiting local beaches. Host was very friendly, respectful, and responsive. The cottage was well apportioned and provisioned (and had the most comfortable bed in the Universe). I would highly recommend staying here if you can.

Redwoods beauty

This place was the perfect place to stay while exploring the redwoods. In the late afternoon we came back, walked to beach, ate in Trinidad and saw an amazing sunset. Highly recommend!

Wouldn't recommend this as cute as it was.

This property wasn't as up to par as we had hoped. It appeared to be on the beach but you find out that you can't get very close due to other private properties in front and the cliff was too dangerous. The place was dirtier than we liked- the chair in the bathroom should be replaced. The bed smells like Febreeze and the mattress squeeks loudly every time you moved like it was wrapped in plastic. It was raining so we woke up to ant invasion each morning. The instruction sheet says to put your trash in appropriate receptacles but we couldn't find any trash cans so we had to take our trash everyday and find a place to dispose of it. We didn't expect wifi but the instruction sheet says there was but the password was very confusing and couldn't connect. The heater was awful and this place needs a heater! When we did get it to work, it never went above 68 and it's a metal heater so the expanding metal popped and banged all night. We had to turn it off to get some sleep since it was so loud. We had to leave a night early and no chance of any refund.

Clean, Quiet and Peaceful

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay in this cute place. It was very clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed being able to hear the ocean at night with the window open. The beach is a longer walk from the property but the location is a great jump off point for many of the local beaches and forest access…. We did not get in until late and were very touched that the host had left lights on for us inside! We would definitely stay here on a return trip.

Great Location!

This was a great cabin for my wife and I. Location is excellent as we made a trip up to Crescent City (not far) and work our way down through the beautiful redwoods. There is many local trails for hiking and highly recommend heading to top of Wedding Rock- at Patrick’s Point (5 min Away). We had an excellent dinner sitting on the Bluff down the road (walking distance) watching sunset. It was cloudy unfortunately but could only imagine how beautiful it would be on clear day. Cabin has everything you’ll need, comfortable bed, equipped nicely.
