Simple, small room but adequate. Clean. The hotel is somewhat charming and is 2 blocks to a main road. There was minimal (or less) staff to help you navigate the town where all other hotels on our 17 day trip around Ecuador had helpful staff 24x7.

"We got a standard room paying $85 which is on the high end for Ecuador. The rooms were old, the bathtub warped as you stepped on it. Later, we arrived late at night and could not contact the receptionist either by knocking on the door nor calling the phone numbers they gave us. There was no doorbell either, we finally got in contact with him and he let us in with no apology. The photos don’t match the property I’d look elsewhere. "
