The house was nice and clean. The pool looked nice even though we didn’t swim in it. It’s not far to walk to the beach.

Girls Weekend

Great house for a small group of girlfriends. Nice seating areas to gather inside and out. Loved the pool! Short walk or drive to the beach and short drive to restaurants and shops. Walking trails nearby. What a fantastic time!

New Year's Long weekend!

We enjoyed a long weekend at Edisto for the New Years holiday! The house was perfect! Rooms/beds and bathrooms enough for our group of 7 to be comfortable and have plenty of space. Kitchen was well stocked and spacious! Loved the large table for meals and games. Furniture was comfortable and clean! Lots of room under the house for cars! Back yard was awesome and the pool looked so inviting! Close to beach with an easy walk ! Everyone was happy!!

Truly tons of fun!

This property was beautiful, beds were comfortable, location was amazing, and it truly is “kid friendly”. Property manager is kind and responsive! We will absolutely be back.

A trap: Ants and a cockroach...

We were really excited for our vacation. After a long trip, checking was a breeze and the house looked awesome. Had a great first night, after our arrival. Then things turned south. We noticed some ants (big ones) in one of the upper bathroom. Ok, could happen. Imagine you're six years old, you turn on the bathtub faucet and over 20 large ants burst out into the tub. Not fun. Then you go downstairs and find a cockroach on the stairs. A live cockroach. We called the management. They called the pest management company. The gentlemen from Apex Edisto was super nice and professional. Found the source in the attic of the carpenter ants and the roaches. Sprayed the stuff, and as explained, ants were coming down for the next day or two. Given our long trip and plans, we did not leave. We moved fully to the first floor, a family of four crammed in one bedroom. Watching and fighting ants coming down. This can happen; maybe. However: (i) nobody from the management company said even "we're sorry" and (ii) we realized, thanks to the pest management guy, that there were ant traps placed all over both bathrooms -- upper corners, corners behind the bins, etc. It felt like a trap on visitors. Anybody who set a foot to the property must have seen the ants, there were many. The traps placed upstairs suggest the ants were not a sudden incident. We don't remember the rental ad mentioning ants & roaches but they were there and expecting us. We informed the local vacasa manager about all this but haven't heard back from him since. We fell into a trap. No communication from the management. At the end, we were glad our stay wasn't too long and we could leave.

This house was a perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday. Beautiful home, great location, super clean. The kids loved the heated pool. We would definitely rent again.

Great beach week

We had never been to Edisto Island before and I think we lucked out renting this house ... it’s right where you want to be on the island. Beach access is right around the corner and it’s the side of the island that captures the best sunsets. It’s also only a 2minute walk to Whaley’s Bar and Restaurant. The house is beautiful and very well laid out for a few couples or a couple families to enjoy a week at the beach. Well stocked kitchen. I’ll rent this house again.

Wonderfully relaxing trip

A last minute decision to go on vacation during a crazy year turned out to be the best decision we’ve ever made. This house was everything we could’ve hoped for. Updated features and fixtures, tons of light within the home, newer furniture, fantastic pool, distance to the beach, ease of access to property. Instantly felt comfortable upon arrival to the home which is sometimes hard going to an unknown place. Would absolutely recommend to a family with teens and younger children. Plenty of space to accommodate a large family and not be on top of each other. Will absolutely consider booking for future vacations.

Tons of Fun at Tons of Fun

Wonderful time at this property. Spacious backyard and pool and walking distance to the beach makes it perfect. There was some discrepancy with the listing of number of bedrooms which was frustrating because neither VRBO and Atwood homes took responsibility for the discrepancy.
