This was a lovely retreat to stay at away from the hustle and bustle of dirty old Rockhampton. There are two great dogs who are very friendly and welcome you to their home. Lizzy the owner was very warm and friendly and great to have a chat with! I stayed for two weeks.

Friendly helpful host. Was a bit worried about dogs on premises but this was unfounded as they kept their distance from our aged mobility impaired corgi.

"Great location with lots of parking. Room is lovely and clean. Communal Kitchen facilities are great with stove, microwave and full fridge plus all utensils. Good for longer stays. They also provide bread, butter and toppings as well as cereal and milk. Staff really friendly. Historic hotel. "
