my family had a great vacation in Daytona Beach at Club Wyndham Ocean Walk. Very nice and clean resort with many amenities located right on the beach. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Condo and property were great. The check in process is a little much. Check in at front desk. Go to a different location get a wrist band. Then to another person for information and coupons for local places. We were lucky and did not get the sales pitch. Overall a great condo location and host.

A quick stop while we were passing thru but a wonderful place to stay with lots to do wish we had more than 2 days to enjoy all that was nearby. Was a nice and cozy apartment with the beach view amazing and breathtaking view

Vacation June 2023

We have been coming to Daytona and staying at Ocean Walk for 6 years now but this was the first & last time that we book through a third party site (VRBO). We booked & paid in full for a 2 BR Ocean View Delux Condo back in February & then 3 days before our stay in June, we get a call from VRBO saying that the Owner of the Unit we rented from has not responded back to them confirming room availability. VRBO then offered 2 one BR condos. I told VRBO that we had 8 ppl & as long as it was ocean front and joining rooms (if possible) that would be fine. We accepted the offer since we had already planned for vacation and paid in full 4 months ago. We get to check in when we arrive & they were having trouble finding our reservation. When they finally found it they tell us that VRBO booked us 2 one BR kitchenette rooms (which are the smallest rooms in the building. Around 500 sq/ft)not Ocean front, no balcony, and were on 2 different floors. Not to mention they had one of the 2 rooms checking out 1 day before the other room. Let me remind you that we are a family of 8 who has traveled 4 hours away to stay a week at the beach. We explained to the front desk our situation and they said that Third party sites such as VRBO has done this multiple times and that they (the managers at Ocean Walk) cannot do anything about it. So I messaged the host on VRBO that day during check in & asked about the 2 different check out dates & he said that he was unaware and could only refund us 1 night.

Girls trip

I just got back from our girls weekend in Daytona. There was 7 of us and the condo was perfect size. Very spacious. The location is great with the shopping and restaurants right there. The pool area was very nice. I really liked to have security present everyday. The washer wasn’t working the first day but I talked to the front desk and they had it fixed quickly. Overall it was a fantastic trip and we would definitely rent again.

Great Property!

Loved our stay here! The room was spacious and the property was beautiful. Only two concerns: (1) I never appreciate being solicited to purchase things as soon as I arrive to vacation. In order to receive wrist bands for the property, the concierge is required to try to sell you on a timeshare. That’s very frustrating. (2) A lot of the doors to enter the resort were blocked off by caution tape at night time. It’s a gated resort. I do not understand the need to close certain entrances at night. It made it very inconvenient to return to the room after dinner. Other than those two things, I highly recommend this property.

Resort Rentals- Never Again

The Tuesday before we were to leave on Sunday, we got a message that the owners of the unit I rented and paid for in FEBRUARY were being non responsive. Our rental was for a 2 bedroom unit. Their only solution was to give us 2 separate units- which split my family of 5 up for the week. Then, when we arrived on site, we figured out that the rental company had only booked one of the two units for 3 nights instead of 5. Two HOURS later, the solution was that my husband and son had to change rooms midweek. The staff at the Wyndham were very helpful and patient, but Resort Rentals was absolutely terrible. We had never stayed at Ocean Walk Wyndham before, and it was PACKED. The beach, the pool. However, all of that was fine. Being separated from my husband and son for the week at night was NOT.

A great resort! My husband and I have stayed here 4-5 times. This was the first time we had our daughter and son-in-law with us. While we were disappointed we weren’t able to get ocean front we still had a great time. Resort is very well maintained and every time you came in from outside you could smell the freshness as someone was always cleaning!

Great place but bring bottled water!

It was great except for 2 issues: The master bath has no door so if one person wants to use it it will bother the other person in the room. And the water tastes like chemicals, it’s in in-drinkable . And it even makes all the utensils and glassware taste bad so we had to rinse everything out with bottled water. I doubt it’s the hotels fault but still something to keep in mind

Originally picked this location for their water slide and lazy river. The lazy river was great but sadly the water slide was not open. Our condo was great! Check in process was fantastic.....everything went great. Only disappointment was no bars on site were open and the water slide was not working.

First, the bad. 1. The check in process was a little weird, with a confusing start in the parking lots and ending at 2 different desks inside, and then it all ending with a sales pitch for a 90min presentation for times shares I’m assuming. 2. The pool opened at 8am and they were roped off until then, and I had to get down there at 7:30 and got a spot along the roped off area and then at 7:59am people were running under the ropes to try to get chairs in certain spots, and it was a lot like Black Friday at Target. But, I’m a Black Friday ninja, so I got chairs along the fence overlooking the boardwalk/beach. 3. The room and bathrooms were not very clean and there were large, dark hairs on the toilet in the bedroom. The entire unit could stand to have a deep clean, especially walls, corners and baseboards. 4. The water slide seen in pictures is not operational. The good: We got there early, around 10:30 and explored a little after check in and got a text that our room was ready around 2, ahead of the 4pm check in time, and we had a partial ocean view, so that was awesome. Beach towels were provided, which was also awesome. The lobby Is nice and clean and there were workers seen constantly cleaning and sanitizing. The location is good, lots of restaurants within walking distance, and lots of food options, along with the food trucks, to the bistro inside (serves Starbucks also), and the bar outside at the pool area served food as well and was very convenient. The boardwalk separating the hotel and beach was busy in the evening and there were street performers and lots of places to walk to and see. We only stayed for 2 days, but if we would have stayed a week we probably wouldn’t have ever had to drive anywhere. Daytona itself seems a little sketch, and it reminded me of Miami for reference, minus the fancy/expensive parts. You can rent 2 beach chairs and an umbrella from a private company on the beach for $40 a day, which is a steal compared to the $550 for 5 days we paid last time we went to Destin in June. If we did come back to Daytona, we would stay here again. The views of the beach and ocean from the pool and outdoor bar and the proximity to things are worth it.

Family Wedding Trip

Everything was great! Absolutely wonderful! The condo was spacious, comfortable and clean. All of the common areas of the resort were clean and well kept. Even the stairwells were freshly painted. It was a very enjoyable stay!

Had to change rooms mid week

I booked 7 nights oceanfront and was put in ocean view room for first 4 nights, had to check out on day 4 at noon and was not provided my oceanfront room until 630. I was not aware I was booked in 2 different rooms by vrbo, probably won’t choose vrbo to book again
