False Advertising & No Reply
We couldn’t be more disappointed. Our group of 4 adults from 3 separate households rented a home advertised on VRBO as a 3 bed/3bath house. Upon arrival, we noted the steps leading to the front door were in disrepair and frankly treacherous (one adult guest nearly fell to the ground). Then once inside the house, we notice significant wall cracks, rust covering the front of the fridge, hair on the shower wall, animal hair and dirt clumps on the main bedroom chair, rusted ceiling panel literally falling into the second shower, holes in the wall around the main shower piping (causing the piping to slide in and out of the wall) and more disrepair, non-sanitary appearing conditions. Worse of all, the house only had TWO bathrooms. This was clearly falsely advertised and was a true deal-breaker to our guests. When we contacted the host, a prompt reply simply says “I’m sorry” and “I’ll look into it”. Nonetheless we were stuck there due to arriving late in the evening and paying in full and advance as required by the contract that was completely non-refundable at this point. We reached out to PMI Big Tex Who manage this property. After 2 phone calls and one electronic submission thru PMI Big Tex’s website over the last week - NO ONE HAS RESPONDED. In full transparency, we explained the above and asked for a partial refund given the significant discomfort our guests experienced because of not having the 3 bathrooms we paid for. Please use caution in dealing with this company.
