Cruz de Huanacaxtle is 45 miles (75 kilometers) southwest of Cuastecomate and features La Cruz Square and Marina Riviera Nayarit at La Cruz. Next time you get to Cruz de Huanacaxtle, check out the rooms at the Star Bay Boutique Resort and Casa Piedra Blanca Real del Mar. For another option, stay in Rincon de Guayabitos, 35 miles (53 kilometers) to the west of Cuastecomate, where you can choose from the Las Cabanas Del Capitan and Posada Real. The Tianguis Market and Fisherman's Memorial are more frequented sites to explore for those visiting Rincon de Guayabitos.
