Disgusting, do not stay
Booked this property for some family and friends nearby as there isn't a lot in the area. The photos are nothing like the actual place and cut out everything terrible. Sticky gunk on the walls, broken doors, stains everywhere on floors, walls, and linens (especially that "kids room" in the photos), things were a mess. The owner refused to interact and it took months to deal with VRBO because no one was willing to stay there. Stay away - total waste of money sort of place - guaranteed disappointment.

Room for Improvement
The cleanliness was an issue - there was an strong odor that never left the place. There was opened food left in the refrigerator & freezer, the washing machine had mold inside on the rubber surrounding the door, & the master bedroom was a mess - carpet was badly stained and the walls had spackled holes that were left unpainted, and the ceiling paint was peeling in several areas. I also asked the host if the kitchen had items like cookie sheets because we were there for Christmas and were planning to cook and bake - I was told yes. However there were only 3 non-stick frying pans. That was it for cookware. Not even a pot to boil water in. I also asked the host if the seating was just like the picture, with only the futon. He said yes but we could pull chairs from the deck or dining area. The deck had two chairs but the cushions were filthy and wet due to the weather. No live tv but perhaps that's in the listing. Overall not really a place you could comfortably hang out at. It was disappointing.

A group of ladies and I stayed at this property over the weekend from Nov. 3rd to Nov. 5th, 2023 and it was ok. The only complaints we had was the garbage, the maid didn’t take it out of the garbage and it had the entire house smelling awful when the door to the garage was open! The hot water ran out fast when showering. There were quite a few holes in the walls, but that didn’t bother us. Overall I’d give this property a 5 out of 10. I would most definitely stay there again.

Basic accommodations. Little dated .
Beds were not so good. Carpet needs replacing. Everything else was fine . Not super disappointed. But not pleasantly surprised.

Disappointed
We were very disappointed in our stay. Even though I scanned all the reviews before booking, I thought maybe they were too critical. They proved to be very accurate. Outlets did not work in some areas, paint was peeling badly on the ceilings and walls, blinds would not close in first bedroom, bottom hinge of first bedroom door was coming apart and rusted nails were exposed, needed many more towels, carpeting was nasty, king bed was ridiculously low, and nothing in the living room to sit on but a futon. This could be a very nice place to stay with just a bit of attention and care, new paint, clean carpeting and general scrubbing. I will not be staying here in the future.

Terrible place. As soon as we opened the doors there was a very terrible chemical smell. We opened all the doors and windows and didn't go away completely. When is was time to go to bed all the blankets smelled terrible. We washed them late at night and still smelled bad. We found out that the soup dispenser was not working properly. I don't know how the owner or the cleaning crew didn't smell that in all the blankets. We contacted the owner and took forever to answer. We were so tired after driving 12 hours from GA. We were going to stay 3 days there but we stayed only that night and left early in the morning. I contacted Vrbo to let them know my experience with the property. Owner PROMISED he was going to refund my money, its been weeks now and he is ignoring all the messages I had sent him. Travelers BEWARE, we though we got a good deal but all the opposite you better off paying a little extra somewhere else. Other than the smelly blankets and mattresses the paint in most walls is pealing, the garage is very nasty too. Also, this place is not 20 minutes from DC is about 40 minutes, with traffic could be even more. This has been the worse experience I had have renting a property.

Outlet in middle bedroom that the lamp is plugged shorted out. Peeling paint and holes in the walls end empty wall sockets make the house seem dirty. Only 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom bed is too low. We tried to heat up soup but had no saucepan. There was not enough seating in the living room.

A nice house
The place was nice. Pictures were accurate. Lots of stuff in kitchen, except a pot. They had extra air mattress which was great. Only issue was there was a faint odor we couldnt find where it was coming from and one of us saw a roach. Also woulda have been nice to know it was an extra 20nfornthe wifi

East coast vacation
This property was a quiet and cool place to visit. Close to our destinations (Annapolis, Washington DC and family), we were visited by geese from the adjacent golf course every morning. One bathroom electric outlet did not work on the final day but this was not enough reason to spoil of feelings about this fun place to relax.
