Very good experience

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. The location is beautiful. The only complaint would’ve been that some areas of the house were not cleaned as well as they should have been.

Everything we wanted

The house was perfectly located on the beach. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and pool table. The beds were comfy and the main TVs had easy access to streaming services. Not many pillows so I would bring extra along with some sheet pans for oven cooking.

Great property on great beach!

Was very impressed with how the house was actually what was advertised. We went in late Feb, early March and due to that, the beech was basically just me and my wife. Great access to beech. Vacasa who manages the house was extremely good at communication. Worth the rental!

December OBX

We came to OBX for my nephews wedding (at Black Stallion). We chose your house for my husband & kids (21, 23) and my sister's family. We have come to OBX nearly every summer since 1999 and this is the first Oceanfront house we have stayed in. I may never go back to a non-oceanfront house! Your house is beautiful, well-stocked. Only negative I believe was that all doors except the front door wouldn't lock (deadbolts broken). Overall a great stay at a great price (winter OBX prices are GREAT compared to summer prices). Thank you!

Winter week

Highly recommend. We had a fantastic winter week there. I am a chef and was delighted by the tools in the kitchen. The views are amazing . We, too , saw dolphins from the deck. The place was clean and the management team was responsive.

Exceeded our expectations

We would stay at this property again - it exceeded our expectations. The location could not be beat! Amazing views, steps from a beach that you have to yourself. Plenty of sand chairs and some boogie boards. Could use some beach umbrellas. The pool was huge and well-kept. Had an issue with a smoke alarm that went off randomly and someone came out to fix it within 30 minutes of my call. The kitchen is well stocked. The only thing I could have used was some food storage containers so bring some with you. The house was beautiful and had plenty of seating. The only negatives about the house was the mildew smell (quite strong) in the lower level that could probably be remedied by removing the carpeting. The master beds were very comfortable but the smaller beds were not - everyone complained about aches and pains in the morning. Also the listing said only blankets and sheets provided so that caused some panic by those who didn't bring pillows (there were plenty of pillows in every bedroom so maybe add that to the listing). We would absolutely book this house again - we enjoyed our stay!

Overall great place! Needed to get deck looked at - several rusty nails and shaky banister. Shower door needed fixing after it fell in on my kid Pool water was freezing due to the colder weather. Emailed about getting it heated and heard nothing

It is a wonderful property. Comfortable and pleasant. There needs to be deep, “spring cleaning,” as well as, updates and repairs to bottom level bathroom, next to sofa bed room. The shower doors are broken and the tub would not drain. There were 2 tubs that would not drain. Had to replace batteries in 2 smoke alarms that were chirping . The gas grill only has 2 working burners. We bought a grill. We replaced the batteries, unstopped the tub. The listing is listed as 3 kings, 1 double, 9twins, sofa bed. I wouldn’t call the extra large twin on a bottom bunk a double. And we had to go to Spectrum and get a new router so we could have Wi-Fi..

Great home, needs some love.

This was a nice property and served this vacation for me and my family very well. All amenities were as advertised and in good working order. The house is definitely dated and needs some love in the upkeep and fixtures, but the access to the beach and the amazing view makes up for any maintenance issues. We had a couple of small issues with a toilet and a door handle upon arrival, but Vacasa was super responsive and handled everything amazingly fast.

The house was not set up for us coming on 10/22, 1 hot water heater was out, the windows were not clean and disgusting to look through. No zero none cleaning supplies available at the house. House side deck areas were not clean and pool full of crabs. Vacasa mgt should be able to host Vrbo houses.

A relaxing little weekend.

We came here last minute in January. The location was perfect- close to restaurants but still very private. The house was clean and spacious. Can’t beat being on the water. Overall wonderful last minute vacation.

Property mgt response a real challenge!

Perfect location! However, poor property mgt response! Lacked proper size bed sheets - entry door lock did not work - second floor (bedrooms) AC unit did not work and property mgt did not respond! Thankfully it only reached the mid 80’s while we visited! Wish the windows were washed so we could enjoy the beautiful view! All that said, we very much enjoyed our family and our stay in Pine Island!

Beautiful views and great location; however, we discovered a rat(s) in the house after it ran across someone in bed, and ran through the kitchen while our group was gathered there. The bed linen in some rooms were dusty, and droppings were found throughout the house, to include on a pillow and night stand. When we brought the issue to the property management company they had pest control come as soon as possible to set traps, and refunded 2 of 3 nights stay. Overall cleanliness was lacking.

One word "AWESOME"

The house and location was perfect. I loved the keyless entry. We had a problem half way through the week, our air conditioning wasn't working on the first and second floor but it was taken care of immediately. It was just a perfect week!!!
