Great place!
Overall it was a wonderful place, plenty of privacy and peace. Dogs are present in the area and vocal, but didn’t bother us a bit. It’s TRUE you need 4WD to get to the cabin, some places say you do and you don’t really but you 100% need an all wheel drive vehicle for this spot. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking, for two people we had plenty of towels. Bring your own spices, dish soap, etc.

Perfect Ocoee Getaway
The cabin is dark which was hard on my father who is almost blind, but that was the only downside. Some people may hate the steep and bumpy road up but I have a 4Runner and we giggled the whole way up and down. My partner and I are guides on the Ocoee River and it was the perfect location to give them a glimpse into the life we live in that area. The hot tub at the end of a long raft day was great too. Central to Mccaysville and the river. There was a massive storm & tree blocked our way to the cabin, it was removed very quickly given the circumstances. And finally my biggest complaint was the customer service people from Vrbo - incredibly rude people ready to take half of my money. As soon as I got in touch with the actual property rental company it was a breeze. And someone came out quickly to help with the hot tub!

Holiday stay
Small cabin. The location is a little far from local activities. It’s very cute, it was nice to have a fireplace to use at night. Both showers are extremely small but the bathroom sizes are good. The kitchen was useful to make breakfast in the mornings before heading out but it doesn’t have any condiments therefore, you need to bring your own. You definitely need an SUV as the road up the mountain is steep, I t snowed the first night and the road was very icy the next day. We did enjoy our stay very much and the family had a great time.

Overall was a good experience and very peaceful
The signage to locate the property could have been better they could have cleaned a little better there was a dog here kinda everywhere.... The Alexa would not work... They do need a upgrade TV to where you can put in your Netflix and hulu... The Jacuzzi was amazing the property was amazing very peaceful

Beautiful secluded cabin with a beautiful porch and hot tub!
This is a wonderful property with great views and privacy. Included all the right amenities, but could've been cleaner and more updated. Spider carcasses near the bath and shower, lots of dust covering the surfaces,lights and curtains. Also a few big dust bunnies and some water bottles under the master bed from previous renters. It would also be a nice touch to add long blinds in the kitchen window and door, along with a curtain to cover the master bathroom window completely for more privacy. Up on our arrival we found the bar for the hot tub cover was completely detached making it a little harder to open and close, but was manageable. Other than that, a great property! Beautiful porch, HOT hot tub, comfy rocking chairs and a cozy fire place! This cabin met our weekend getaway needs!!

TOO MUCH BARKING
We are now aware that it is a "dog rescue" down the road, but the constant barking from a large pack of dogs made it impossible to relax and made our dogs on edge. Also, for the price, expected it to be cleaner - rug in living room, chairs and sofa were quite dirty, as was the floor. Spider webs also!

Lovely Cottage Getaway
We had a great weekend just staying in the cottage, using the hot tub, and watching the stars. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone that's looking to unwind and disconnect for a few days. It is on a gravel covered dirt road, and the last bit is a bit steep, so while you can get there in a 2 wheel drive vehicle, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is very much recommended.

Perfect getaway
We had an amazing time at this cabin. It snowed that night and in the morning we drank our coffee, in the hot tub and watched the fresh snow. The fireplace was a welcome addition and the owners left plenty of wood. Thanks for an amazing weekend away
