Warm and friendly. Sweet small guest house with good size room, great shower, outdoor sitting area. It was very clean. I enjoyed the conversations over breakfast with other guests. I appreciated taking a bike out for ride around the area. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable

This location had just recovered from the floods in the fall of 2024. But you would never realize that until you saw the pictures of the before, and after it was completely renovated since the floods. However, while it was a simple, comfortable and expensive place to stay, I was disappointed that the Yoga was not offered during the days that I was there. It was absolutely clean!

Nice little stopover, pretty much as described on their site. It is about a 15 - 20 min walk from the main part of Chang Rai, but we like this as it allows us to get to know the area

Very nice basic hotel. Very clean. Great friendly staff. Free use of bikes. A scooter for rent. Grab taxi only 95 baht. I found a lovely restaurant nearby called Melt In Your Mouth. Nice view of river and sidewalks.

We loved our stay here. The place gave off a very relaxing vibe. Breakfast choices were delicious. Nice touch with home made jams etc. Super friendly staff. Good value for money. We liked being able to borrow bicycles for free, made it very easy to get around.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My family and I booked the 2 bedroom 2 bath house and it was a great fit. The house was nice and clean and the host was very friendly. Have lots of food options within walking distance and there were tour options and yoga. We were a party of 5 and there were no shortage of hot water when showering. Overall a really good experience. I highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend Gita’s House, a lovely and comfortable guest house in a peaceful neighborhood just a 15 minute walk from the tourist center. Spotlessly clean with a kind and helpful staff that can arrange all your rentals and tours. Best stay on our trip so far.

Lovely stay

I loved Gita's House. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious with. Nice sitting area in front. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was easy walking distance to bars and restaurants but in a very quiet side street so it was peaceful. The shared spaces and share breakfast made it easy to meet other guest. They had free biked to use. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also did my laundry for 50 baht. Highly recommended.

Safe and friendly place to stay near the town.

The best part of staying at Gita's house are the friendly staff. The owner and her parents were extremely kind and thoughtful. The owner opens her home to hold healing yoga classes too, and she is so passionate (and also humble) to share her learning with everyone. She invites teachers of different kinds of healing to share their knowledge too. It was truly a wonderful, warm, safe and welcoming place to stay.

Was once a wellness/yoga centre and oozes serenity. Huge rooms and bathrooms. Great helpful Hosts. Excellent Day-Trip available . Breakfast in communal room with great daily choices. Tea, Coffee etc available all day. Walkable to main drag (about 10 mins for this older female lady) and Hosts are full of helpful information to make your stay even more enjoyable. Enjoyable (and great food) Pad-Thai restaurant 5 minutes away. Gita's House better than a home-stay !!! Loved it (seriously)
