"The room was nice and big—in need of repair and some basic renovation, but it was all right. The restaurant has a local charm to it, and the food is good. The thing with this place is the area: it’s on the fringe of town on a rough, dusty road where a bunch of locals live rough-and-ready. The vibe is fairly grim. No shops or cafes or food stalls. Just a few barking dust dogs and all kinds of crowing roosters. Some folks do tend to like an experience like this—maybe that’s you. "
