Great location but poor customer service
We stayed here recently for a summer weekend on the lake and the location of the house and the large dock were the highlights of this property.
The key box out front to let us in would not open, but they left the house unlocked so we could get in. Problem is that we had no key to lock up the place for the weekend. I was told that they would inform the local team about this, so we had no key for the weekend.
The rooms are oddly arranged and have very low ceilings on the upstairs and downstairs bedroom. Two of our guests were over 6 feet tall and had to bend down anytime they were in these bedrooms.
The carpet going down to the downstairs bedroom has a huge stain on it and the carpet is in need of a deep cleaning or should be replaced. The whole house, in fact, is in need of a deep cleaning.
The most disappointing part of our trip was having to rely on Vacasa as the host of this property. I have to say that I was very unimpressed with them. My inquiry's would take weeks to get a response, and after waiting weeks for a response, the information I got back was not accurate. I have always had great experiences with the hosts of the VRBO's that we have stayed at, so this was very disappointing.
Overall, we had a great weekend at the lake, but I will not be renting a property from Vacasa again in the future.
