Châlons-en-Champagne (Marne). La Porte Sainte-Croix et le Castel Marie-Antoinette. Porte Sainte-Croix. Egalement appelée porte Dauphine, la porte Sainte-Croix a été édifiée en 1771 par l'architecte Nicolas Durand et le sculpeteur Antoine Lépine. Elle est dédiée à Marie-Antoinette pour son arrivée en France avant son mariage avec le Dauphin, le futur Louis XVI. Cette porte, construite sur le modèle des arcs de triomphe romains, fut terminée juste à temps pour le passage de Marie-Antoinette, qui allait épouser le Dauphin, d’où son nom de Porte Dauphine. Le Castel Marie-Antoinette. Le Castel Marie Antoinette est un hôtel particulier néogothique qui fut construit en 1890 par M.Eugène Napoléon-Cochery pour sa fille Isabelle Marie-Antoinette. Ce petit château a été mis au enchères en février 2018, son propriétaire, homme d’affaires rémois, étant en délicatesse avec sa banque. Mis à prix pour 500 000 €, pour la moitié de son prix réel, la vente sera finalement annulée, le propriétaire ayant trouvé un arrangement avec sa banque. Un projet d'hôtel, avec des aménagements pour 3 millions d'€, ne fait pas l'unanimité.
