"The pictures of the cabin are deceiving, it is more run down than can be seen on the pictures (cracks between flooring, etc.). Although lakefront, the water is very hard to access, as it sits on a cliff. They do have a ladder down, but it was very difficult getting the kayaks to the water and getting ..."

"The property was in a remote place with no mobile coverage and the host did not make sure that the internet was working. He uses an extended from the nearby cabin, very unreliable and no internet connection makes it absolutely horrible stay. The place is just full of flurries and mosquitoes. He casually ..."

"Cabin is smaller than pictures make it out to be. We made it work as we had a group of 7 but a full group of 10 would be quite uncomfortable. Bedrooms were nice but its very hot in the cabin. Especially upstairs. There's a portable unit in the master bedroom upstairs but at times it would leak so we had to put a tray under the drain hose. Due to the cabin being so hot, our kids ended up sleeping in our room with the portable AC. The flooring upstairs needs to be replaced, it's broken with pieces missing. Grass needs to be mowed, there's some garbage like tires and metal in the bushes. Letting renters know that the lake isn't deep once you climb down the ladder would have been nice. On our last day we saw some other campers swimming in the lake so we then decided we would see for ourselves. Without a heads up there's no way of knowing how deep it is. Kids had a blast swimming. We walked north a bit and saw a trail. A nice couple let us take the trail down to the lake. They also gave us fresh garden veggies which was kind of them. A 20 minute drive north to pine dock gave us a beach to swim at. Spent a few hours there. Providing some better cookware like better frying pans and cookie sheets would be beneficial. The cabin could use a bit of a deep cleaning. Beside the stove specifically and the walls leading up the stairs. I think if you stay here in the fall or winter, it would be beautiful. During the summer with no AC was just unbearable. Overall, we had a good time."
