The host is very good at communicating clearly and promptly, which is so important when you haven’t been to either the town or the property before. The house had loads of little touches which made it feel like you were staying at a friend’s place rather than some corporate property. Bonus: Lots of little options for our dog, too, all while being clean, comfortable, and homey. I could have stayed longer. Their attention to communication and various details with the house made it a lot easier to relax, which was just what we needed. Pro tip: pre-look up the wonderful keyless lock as they suggest. It took 10 seconds to understand and eliminated any potential stress. They did a phenomenal job of giving us a super easy guide, too. Then we didn’t have to go anywhere for check-in or worry about misplacing keys. Great touch and great host advice! It’s those kind of little things that made for a great stay.

Relaxing weekend getaway

This place exceeded our expectations! This was a last minute trip for us over the 4th of July weekend. The house is beautifully decorated in up to date decor. The cleanliness of this place wonderful. It had everything we needed to make us feel right at home. The king size bed was amazing, I slept peacefully every night and it is literally surrounded by lucious green tree’s, I opened all the blinds! A perfect picture of beauty. Yes there are a lot of steps to the boat dock, not a place I would recommend for someone with bad health, bad hips or bad knees, or with small kids. But my husband and I are 53 and 50, and our son and his friend are in their teens and did great! The host was easy to contact. There was plenty of restaurants and stores to visit either by car or boat. Cadiz had an amazing farmers market on Saturday. We could not of had a better experience

Greatest place to relax

The house was amazing. Me and my wife our son and his friend has a blast. The house was clean, the location was privafe, and the fishing was fantastic. It had a great porch to hangout on a great dock to put a small boat or kayaks. Inside was very spaceous. The bed was so comfy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to cook anything. Very cool place and for us not very far. I will definitely be looking to stay there again. The stairs werent that bad and if anything just got me in better shape. It was just a gorgeous property

Quiet get-a-way

Wow, what a beautiful place. It is truly no joke that it is a challenge to get to the dock, but well worth the hike. we loved sitting on the dock and watching the fish jump and the cranes hunt on the lake. All the wildlife to see was so fun. The host cut the grass the first day of our stay so the front green space was freshly mowed and easy to explore. The house was clean and was the first pet friendly rental that really felt pet friend. Although we bring everything our pup needs, (bed, dishes, toys, supplies) the host had a bed on both floors, dog dishes and even provided poop bags. This house has an open floor plan and is spacious. The second-floor loft bedroom was huge and stayed cool even though it was hot outside. We really enjoyed this property and hope to rent it again.

My stay in this cozy waterfront home in Cadiz was nothing less than enjoyable. It was a very peaceful and relaxing trip. I will most definitely be booking this house again in the near future!!!

The house excellent. I wish the yard had been mowed. Steps are not for older people lol. Loved the dock and it was very peaceful and quiet. Would love to stay again but those steps and we are not getting any younger lol. #SORE LEGS

Holiday stay

Our family needed to travel with dogs to a larger holiday gathering- this property was just a mile from the other spot that was not pet friendly, and worked perfectly. Very clean, had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy, clean and fluffy towels, and hot showers. Nice air mattress with bedding for the kids. Dog beds and bowels for our pups! Great communication from owners. If you aren’t used to driving on narrow country roads in the hills, with drop offs on the sides or steep driveways just know that’s part of getting to and from in this area. A steep and beautiful walk down to the water. Bathroom is on the first floor, so if you are a night frequenter of the bathroom, know you have to traverse the stairs. Secluded road for nice walks, not many neighbors. Only saw one or two cars driving in the 5 days as we drove back and forth between the houses.

Cozy!

Absolutely loved the house! Super cozy, clean and beautiful. Easy to find. The stairs were a little steep to the water but still did them a few times. Nice to have the landing to rest. Beautiful settings. Host is great friendly and very responsive! Absolutely recommend!

We’re already looking forward to next time!

This house and property were exactly as we expected, based on the listing. We had total privacy, which is what we were looking for - a weekend to completely unplug and relax. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. From the games to the cookware/dinnerware to the comfy furniture - we will be back. The deck was a perfect hangout spot and we look forward to coming back when the railing is in place to get to the dock. Perfect relaxation station!

Relaxing and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything is updated and very clean. Had everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed the deck in the mornings and watching the wild life by the lake. Very quiet and private. The king size bed is very comfortable. Even caters to our four legged friends. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Relaxation Station

Beautiful cozy in a peaceful setting yet close to conveniences. They thought of all needs and quality finishes and furniture down to dog beds and dog bowls. We're buying the rug from the living room so cozy. They were quickly responsive to our questions. Will definitely visit again

The door lock did not work

The door lock didn’t work (except the first time we went in). We were able to enter through the back door.. We called VRBO but. They couldn’t help us. They tried calling the owner, but, could not get ahold of her. It wasn’t until the next morning we heard from the owner.

My wife and I took a few vacation days with our 2 dogs. The accommodation provided 2 bowls and beds for pets. We liked the area and the privacy. No noise or bright lights. It was easy to communicate with the host and they responded very quickly.
