Perfect getaway

It was an absolutely amazing property with equally amazing views. Everything from checking into directions and communication was all great. The owner responded dating questions we had almost immediately. The perfect place if you just want to stay in the mountains for a few days.

Perfect get away in the woods!

Bear Pawz cabin is the perfect mountain get away! The view from the deck is priceless! The deck is enclosed so great for pets and kids. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The lounge/game room is the perfect cozy spot to curl up and read and still have the mountain view. The drive up the mountain is a bit hairy at times, especially after it rains and we were very glad we have a 4 wheel drive truck! We will definitely be back to Bear Pawz. The only thing I wish it had is a fenced yard for our dogs.

Mountain weekend

We so enjoyed our weekend at Bear Paws! Perfect weather. The property had everything we needed. It is quite tricky getting to the top of the mountain, but we safely navigated it each time. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful and Cozy

Loved our stay. The pictures did not do the view or cabin justice. Excellent location, felt secluded but easy to reach hiking and dining. Would love to return soon.

Bear Pawz is even better in person!

In all the years of renting homes for family vacations, we have never stayed at a place that was even better than the photos. Super clean, well-equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need and the views are STUNNING! We highly recommend staying at Bear Pawz and promise you will not be disappointed.

Amazing Views

This is our second time staying at this property. The house is clean and beautiful with board games, puzzles, and TVs which were great for when our young kids were bored. The expansive views from the back of the house are amazing! The communication with the property manager was fantastic! It is also located about 20 minutes from downtown Bryson City. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

The cabin was exactly as described in the listing! Overall cleanliness is top on our priority list and this cabin far exceeded our expectations. It is equipped with everything you’ll need for a wonderful mountain vacation! The drive up is quite an adventure but one we loved every time we came back. The wifi didn’t work for us but the property manager was very good about communicating and getting it fixed. Don’t wait any longer, book this cabin today!

Peaceful - Great View

What a great stay. Great views, quiet and very peaceful. Cabin super clean with plenty of space and easy parking. The drive up was not bad. I would recommend AWD or 4WD but worth the drive. Loved every minute on site. Will certainly revisit this one again. This is a place you hate that your stay is up. This one gets a High-Five!

Amazing getaway

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. We WILL stay here again. The private gated Glory Mountain is secluded and beautiful. The cabin has great parking, as we brought a small single motorcycle trailer. As soon as you walk into that house you can see the priceless views of the Smokey's. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck just soaking up the mountains. House is well maintained and was just as the listing showed. Thank you for having us!

Breathtaking Views, Secluded, Quiet

There should be a camera to capture the look on people’s faces when they walk thru that front door and immediately see the views. It’s absolutely breathtaking. And the sounds of silence are perfect. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. We spent a lot of time rocking in the rocking chairs on that back deck overlooking the mountains. We even got to see a rainbow. We would love to return in the fall to see the changing of the trees.

Wonderful Views

The property was exactly as described, and the view was even better in person. The house was very clean with lots of nice little touches & conveniences. Area was very quiet. About 15 minutes to downtown Bryson City and 35 to Cherokee. For those wondering about the roads I found them to be fairly typical of this type of property. Winding 1 lane gravel all the way up once you get into the neighborhood. Just take it slow and you'll be fine. I think you'd definitely need 4-wheel drive in snow or inclement weather. We had moderate overnight rain a few nights during our stay but didn't have any trouble getting in and out. The view was absolutely worth it!

Gorgeous views!

Absolutely beautiful property. That back deck alone, was worth the price of admission. We spent most of our time out there, including the hot tub. If there are any cons, they would be the internet and the drive up to the cabin. We had a 4 wheel drive, so no issues, but for those who don't, could make for an interesting trek. The Frontier internet was lacking, to say the least. The other, Hughes, we were worried we would go over the allotted gigs. That is, if it worked at all due to the weather. We completely understand these are probably the owners only options for where they are. Just giving a heads up. We brought plenty of extra products (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry and dw detergents, etc.). Hardly had to use any of them. Very well stocked cabin, including oils and spices for cooking. Much appreciated. Comfortable furniture, including the bed. We very much enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone.

What a veiw!

Can not say enough about the veiw! Relaxing peaceful time. Close to hiking, white water rafting, kayaking. About 30 min to smokey mountain national park. The cabin is stocked with everything you need. Great place to relax!! Joe

Pretty Mountain Get-Away

The home is as listed, we had no complaints. While we enjoyed getting away for a weekend we just didn't love the house or the location. FYI if it's cloudy and raining the internet is very spotty and slow as we believe it's provided via Direct TV. The house is clean but lacking in charm, it feels like a rental. Not that this is a bad thing just not what we were hoping for. But still a 5 star get-away based upon the house accommodations. BTW the house manager delivered salt to our front door when I mentioned there was none to be found in the house and I never think to bring salt! This was very kind of him.

Breathtaking and relaxing

My wife and I spent 6 nights at this beautiful home. The views of the mountains are amazing. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, and everything was just simply comfortable. One of the best mountain homes we've rented. The fireplace, large deck, and hot tub made for a very nice relaxing vacation. About a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Bryson City. If it's snowing, you'll probably need a 4WD.

The Perfect Mountain Getaway!

This property is simply outstanding. The views are incredible and the house is beautiful and very functional. We were very pleased with our choice of houses and location. I'll admit, we were worried on the drive UP the mountain as we're Floridians. But navigating was not that difficult. Once we arrived, my husband and I didn't want to leave for anything. Our kids and grandkids wanted to explore, so we did take a few day trips off the mountain. We've already talked about renting this house again to just relax and enjoy the views. Thank you to the owners/managers for making this house a true HOME for us last week.

A hidden Gem

This place was everything as described and more. I couldn’t be happier with the cleanliness of the property as well as the the fully stocked kitchen with everything a cook could need. The pictures don’t do the views justice. It was breathtaking. We are already talking about when we can come back. My best advice would be - make sure you have 4 wheel drive.
