Overall this was a perfect getaway for us! Two adults, wondering what the “tiny house” lifestyle is all about. The cabin is beautiful, lots of windows and natural light, lovely tall ceilings, and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed exploring Bryson City, and loved the 30 minute drive into the Smokies. We have already started planning a return trip, this time encouraging friends to come along and rent the cabin next door!
All linens were provided, plenty of cleaning supplies, and kitchen was equipped decently (could use a cutting board though). One kitchen gripe: preground coffee is provided, but the only machine is a single serve keurig with no reusable filter cup. So no way to use the provided coffee. They did provide 2 K-cups, but we were there two mornings so that wouldn’t have gone very far for 2 coffee-loving adults. Thankfully we brought our own instant coffee.
As mentioned in a previous review- the mattresses are VERY FIRM. My husband and I enjoyed it as we like a firm mattress. If you don’t like a firm mattress… you will probably be uncomfortable. We also ended up unplugging the TV at night because it kept turning itself on.
