The sliding back door handle was broken along with the lock, we couldn’t open the door. The locks in the windows were broken and didn’t lock. The thermostat was inaccurate and wouldn’t turn the heat down enough to be comfortable. The room didn’t have an ice bucket or ice trays. Most of the amenities offered were out of order or being worked on. The front desk wasn’t able to use a credit card machine so we couldn’t purchase snacks or drinks. The bar in the lobby was closed the entire time we were there.

It was a clean and well appointed place. The location is worth noting however as it is right by the entrance and right on a main street so it is not a quiet location. Its great access to downtown but the noise is a trade off. Also bc there is not any AC, having the windows open is ideal but very hard with the noise level. We had to file a noise complaint about the people above us and the front desk was very responsive.

Noisy and worn

The location and building were convenient, but overall, the stay left a bit to be desired. Street noise and sound from the unit above made it hard to fully relax. One of my favorite parts of visiting the mountains is sitting outside, but the patio here offered little in terms of atmosphere—just a view of the front drive and a single aspen tree. The unit itself felt a bit worn. The walls were scuffed and in need of repair, the patio door handle was missing, and the floor heaters looked unstable. The shower curtain also could have been cleaner. While the room size is comparable to a standard hotel, and the price might be comparable to a hotel room in Breck, the bed setup was awkward—pushed into a corner against the window with only about a foot of space to climb in and out. Overall, it worked for a short stay, but I will look for something more comfortable next time.

One of the bed legs was broken making it tilt to one side, the Roku on the TV had no power supply cable, the kitchen wasn't stocked with utensils for basic cooking, inconvenient access set up for guests. Not recommended!

No frills place, good value

This is an older place that met our needs pretty completely. If you are looking for a shiny, updated, more bougie place, this is not for you. It is an old building and the unit just looked a bit worn out. We were grateful for the washer and dryer. The vent for the dryer is pointed out over the dryer and into the room. Not a huge issue since it was cold while we were there. The unit was quiet as far as interior noise, but the room is situated to the front of the building where the sign is lit all night. Between some traffic noise and light, light sleepers may want a room situated in a different spot of the building. The host was very helpful, easy to reach and the instructions for entry and check out were easy. We apprciated having a garage for the car. Overall, the place met our needs just fine.
