"Modern, refined, and exceptionally well designed, Stoos Lodge is a gem. If you’re coming to Stoos, chances are you’re here to hike the famous ridge trail. Keep in mind that completing the route in a single day requires five chairlift rides, making Stoos Lodge the perfect place to recharge before or after your hike. One of the best parts of staying here is that Stoos transforms in the evening. Most of the day visitors leave by around 5:00 PM, and the village becomes peaceful and relaxing. The facilities, rooms (yes, they have air conditioning), restaurant, and Blue Bar were all excellent. If it’s available, I highly recommend Room 510. It features an in-room sauna, multiple windows with great natural light, and one of the best room layouts I’ve stayed in. One final tip: take the chairlift back up the mountain for sunset. The views are spectacular, and it’s absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommended."
