Hotel was close to the Keeter Center at School of the Ozarks where we had reservations for the fantastic Sunday buffet. The hotel lobby was very nice as it made you feel like you were in a lodge. There was a nice big fireplace also in the lobby that was very cozy. The room was nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and had the best pillows I had ever slept on. There were lots of choices at the breakfast buffet, but since were going for brunch, we didn't eat there. The check-in desk clerk on Saturday night had no personality, but the check-out girl was very friendly. All in all, a very nice hotel (a little pricey).

We're Hooked : )

Our family loved everything about Angler's Lodge Hollister! The Bass Pro Shops have always been near and dear to our hearts, and so the themed atmosphere was so comforting and familiar! The staff were kind and accommodating. Breakfast foods and coffee were A++. We will be back and tell family and friends to check this place out!

There was only one working elevator during our stay. The hotel seemed to be at capacity so there were long waits going up to the 4th floor. The elevator that was in service slammed down between the 3rd & 4th floors then continued going up to the 4th while we were on it. My husband has had back issues ever since and has been seeking medical treatment. I reached out to the property and have heard nothing back from them. All they did was file an incident report. There has been no resolution or follow up from them or their affiliates.

My complaint.. dogs. Barking while I'm sleeping. The thought that they are in roons.. I'm wondering are the carpets steamed? Why arwthe allowed to walk where the food is served? There should be an entire floor for those with animals. This will keep us from staying again.
