"Food good, great coffee Very friendly staff Valet parking easy BUT it was raining we brought car up, then allow 2 ladies to struggle loading our luggage."

"The staff was truly accommodating- we were there for our 50th reunion. Stopped by a bit before happy hour and the staff actually got us a bottle of wine for our happy hour celebration (4 of us staying there), even though they were not open just yet. The rooms were great, parking was good, even though there was a wedding party there. Also one of the workers apparently does water colors, so I took one home as a souvenir, and it was lovely. "

"We emjoyed our stay. Hotel was conveniently located, front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean and well maintained. Our beds were comfortable and the sheets/pillows/towels were good quality, which sometimes isn’t the case in older hotels like this. Knocked off one star because of mildew on our shower walls which should have been addressed but otherwise our room and the hotel itself felt very clean."

"We stayed here once years ago and were happy to have another great experience this time! The amenities, game room, staff and happy hour are all fantastic and the art deco decor is really unique. The restaurant was very good and the rooms are clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend!"

"The breakfast spread was excellent; the server kept the food areas clean and filled the trays when needed. Great service, friendly staff, and great food and drinks at the bar. The room was clean upon arrival, bathroom just needed newer towels and bathtub."

"Cute little renovated home VERY close to UNCSA, which is what I wanted. House is comfortable and well- appointed. It IS a college town, close to campus, so there were predictably some parties going on on the block , but nothing too distracting. I’ll stay here again. It’s an EXCELLENT value"
