If you are a tourist who has never been to Boston I highly suggest you do not stay here. The closest subway is a 20 min walk and the area the hotel is located at is extremely unsafe, and poverty and drug stricken. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere in the North End of Boston.

The hotel is right next to the medical center. The surrounding area seemed unsafe. The first room we got had a strong smoking smell even though we had requested non-smoking room. I complained to the front desk and they were able to change my room. The breakfast was good. Their staff was friendly and helpful. The nightly charges seemed more for this hotel.

Short stay before cruise

A typical Hampton Inn. Great place to stay before heading to cruise terminal. Be prepared for many homeless people around hotel area. Hotel is safe with many locked areas for guest's protection. We had no worries while there one night.

The truth is, the person who received me was very kind, easy-going and explained everything perfectly, But there is a girl who was there on July 18, 2025 in the morning at 10 am, super hateful, maybe because she doesn't speak her language and treats it as unimportant, unfortunately, one is a tourist client and needs good service to feel comfortable for something, one is paying and is not asking for anything for free. in the surroundings many homeless drug addicts hospital right next door very bad location for a day of rest or vacation

Although this property was clean, comfortable with a very pleasant staff and a wonderful Cuban restaurant- it’s unfortunate that a homeless community descends in the parking lot at night time.

The property was not in the greatest area it was across the street from a hospital and a methadone program. Homeless people and drug addicts hanging out in front of the hotel which made it very unsafe. Police constantly coming around because of the element in the area. Not an ideal place to stay with family and highly recommend not staying here.

The property is located near a hospital. So there are sirens at all hours of the night. To to mention all the hoemeless people littering the block around the hotel made it feel sooo unsafe. The evening staff was not friendly at all. They didn’t even bother to great us when we got there. They were having issues with their system and didn’t even bother to explain what was going on. We were put in a different room than what we had reserved and we were moved to a different room with no explanation and when I asked the receptionist there had the WORST attitude and told me it was either that room or wait for the other one that was not rdy yet ( at 330pm). The pool was sooo not heated. Other hotel guest were complaining about it as well, they kept insisting that it was. It was not. That water was colder than beach water in mid winter. The morning staff on the other hand were awesome. Shout out to Dulce for making our day better by moving us to a better floor and room. Still I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The staff tried their best with the limited resources they had at the time which was fine but annoying. And didn't enjoy at all that it wasn't mentioned it was in a rough neighborhood. Even though they kept people safe being surrounded by homeless and drug addicts by all hours did not make it pleasant for me and will never return again.
