Quiet and Secluded, Great for Bear Sightings

We stayed in this cabin in Blairsville for 2 weeks to visit family and introduce them to our first born for the first time. The hosts were attentive without being intrusive, and shared Ring clips with us of a momma bear and her 2 cubs who visited the property as few times during our stay. It is very close to Vogel State Park, and the road is windy, but not challenging for your average vehicle.

We came back a second time

The first time we stayed at this cabin was last year in the fall. We loved it so much that we rented it for our summer vacation! It rained some during our stay, so we didn’t get to use the fire-pit like we planned. It is one of the most beautiful fire-pits I’ve seen though. Every morning we sat on the back porch and had coffee. We sometimes ate dinner on the porch too! It’s peaceful and has a beautiful view of the woods. Our other favorite place in the cabin was the game room. We played so much pool, and ping pong too. There are also quite a bit of board games and books on the top floor, and those were nice to have. Vogel State Park is only a short 3-4 minute drive, and we did get some hiking in. There’s a dollar general store close by for basic things too. We would definitely stay here again for our family vacations. Our pre-teen daughter loved it so much and didn’t want to go home.

Parents to older teens/college kids

This was a great place to stay for our family. We have 2 college age kids and 1 high schooler. The pool table and ping pong were a lot of fun. The cabin is 3 levels so there was a lot of privacy of anyone needs a space for themselves. We did tried to enjoy all the amenities but were unable to figure out the fire place...it was most likely user error ◡̈ (we gave up quickly and used the fire pit instead ) ◡̈ We brought our own boardgames but we didn't need to because there were fun ones to choose from! We would defiantly stay here again!

Perfect!

This was the perfect place to stay for a wedding weekend at Enotah Valley Event Center in Blairsville. Less than a mile to the venue! The cabin was very clean and relaxing. Had everything you need for a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing fall getaway

We timed our stay perfectly to enjoy this little slice of heaven in the mountains. The cabin is very nice and comes with everything you need and more. This was our first experience with VRBO and we are hooked now. We are already planning on returning next year.

Quick family getaway

This cabin was perfect for a weekend get away to see the leaves changing. Husband and children enjoyed the game room with the pool table and ping-pong table. Firepit area was super nice, perfect for s’mores. Two different porches with great view of woods, and was nice to enjoy a cup of coffee outside. Beds were comfortable, cabin was clean. Very close to Vogel State Park, which was a plus! Would definitely stay here again.

Georgia Getaway

The property was very nice and well kept. I don’t have anything negative to say about the property at all. However, I did face some challenges with certain things working properly, which eventually got resolved due to the Owners help. The caretaker could definitely use some work on how they address guests going forward though, as I was very offended in how I was spoken to once I brought up the issues we found shortly after arriving. I can honestly say that no one has ever spoken to me that way during a vacation like this. Especially after we spent a lot of money to be at this beautiful home. I understand that things happen, but first impressions are everything, especially to a guest that doesn’t have the ability to see anyone that’s representing such a place. I said all that because I really do hope and believe that it could be an asset for the next group that reserves this place. Though we had a wonderful time and I personally grew to have a lot of respect for the actual Owners, we probably wouldn’t book this location again. I’d recommend to anyone that’s reading this to not be discouraged from my wording, as I’m sure experiences will vary with each guest. Give it a shot and see for yourself!

AMAZING cabin - enjoy the mountains

Serenity Cabin was an amazing place to spend time with family. The cabin contains anything you could need - including extra blankets for FL warm weather people. The location gave us access to multiple local parks and recreation spots. We lucked out on the fall leaves changing. The hosts were great and very responsive (although we didn't need to ask for anything while there). Would definitely visit again.

Amazing Cabin, perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This cabin had everything our family of 5 needed. Loved the 3 full bathrooms & plenty of room for everyone. Loved the game room/ping pong table, the fire pit area, the WiFi also worked perfectly. This location couldn’t have been better. So close to Blood Mountain (we conquered that!), Scenic drives, Helen, & lots of close hikes. I highly recommend Pappys tubing & Jim’s Smokin Q! Thank you for offering this wonderful spot to get away from it all for a bit & create memories with our boys!

25th Wedding Anniversary

Excellent setting

Beautiful setting. Secluded & quiet with much nature and wildlife. Very beautiful and comfortable cabin. Well stocked. The check in instructions need to be updated as it notes keyless entry; however also says to place key in lock box on checkout.

Perfect for family on hiking trip

We hiked daily in the area and the house is located perfectly for that. We like to hike early in the day and relax in the afternoon so this house was great. The beds were soft and comfortable (the sheets were particularly nice). We used the indoor fireplace as well as the fire pit. The grill looked nice but we only used the kitchen for cooking. The kitchen is stocked with basic items but nothing fancy so if you need something particular you should ask the owners (we made brownies in a round cake pan and it worked fine!) I appreciated the Roku on the TV so we could sign into our Disney and Amazon accounts in addition to Netflix that was already accessible. Overall, it was a really good experience to stay at the house and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I dislike that the only way to view TV was that you have to stream and that it is totally dependent on the internet. We had no internet so we had no TV. Needed internet to do work. Finally was decided that it wasn’t going to be fix until the day we had to leave. Needless to say we left early and moved to a hotel. Need someway to watch TV other than streaming off the internet for people who do not use internet to watch tv. Had to get the news and weather while out in the car. There was no view from the porches. One place was told check out was 10:00am another place was stated 11:00 am. Was asked to wash the towels and wash the dishes in the dish washer and put up dishes, take out the garbage, lower the temperature or raise it according to the time on the year. Take out all the garbage and don’t leave any food . There was food left in the refrigerator when we got there.Never stayed in a cabin where there is list of things to do before leaving. These are the things I thought the people who are hired to clean were supposed to do. Not that I would ever leave a place in a mess. Just think it’s odd that basically you would be asked to do a lot of cleaning especially since the cleaning routine since COVID should be more controlled with the assurance that everything is done by code . If you are a short person you steps to get in the bed. Would suggest a rail be put by the tub to help getting in and out and rails down to the fire pit to make it more handicap friendly.
