The service was top notch. I can not say enough good things about Terry at the front. The view in our room was amazing. I usually bring my own pillow but I forgot. The bed and the pillows were perfect!! I can not wait to plan a return trip!

It’s an okay property. We booked it so we could fish from the pier so weren’t looking for anything special. It was very cold in the room. They brought in a room heater for second night but it didn’t work. Overall not a bad place to stay if you only plan to use it to sleep.

A bit secluded from the main drag of town, which made for a nice, quiet environment. Would have liked to see more seating options on the private beach, as well as more complimentary breakfast options

Staff were nice. If anything, I would say they redeem the place. We especially enjoyed the picnic tables by the lake. We were 4 families in total with 4 rooms. They had a pingpong table that our kids enjoyed. Town was walkable 5mins maybe but I personally would not let my kids walk because there’s no paved sidewalk. I felt unsafe but as a big group i thought we would be hard to miss and the rest of our group wanted to walk so we did. Just be careful if you do that as cars were pretty fast. we moved the picnic tables around since we were a big group and staff allowed us to do so. our kids were able to play on the parking grounds and on the sand. given that is summer, there were lots of growth in the water so we weren’t able to play in it. ducks were everywhere. the sunrise was nice. the rooms are a different story. the pictures made it seem like they were up-to-date but that is very far from reality. lighting were dark and depressing. locking rooms don’t feel secure to me at all. luckily we didnt bring much valuables. towels were old and in different shades of white except “new towel” kind of white. we had a microwave and a kitchen sink beside it. that helped given the bathroom sink was tight. power outlets need to be updated. none on them worked unless you bend your adapter’s metal plug to keep them in. water pressure was nice. but look to adjust before use or you will flood your bathroom like we did. not sure i love it but we did like our company and staff.

The lady who cheched us in was very nice and friendly. There were many issues with the lodge. The place itself is very old which would have been ok, however. The issues with the room are as follows. The heater disnt work. The bathroom door didnt align properly so the door did not close all the way. The shower did not drain while taking a shower. The shower doors did not keep the water inside and water spilled out all over the bathroom floor. The fireplace didnt work. The screen door leading to the balcony did not stay on the railing.

Well to get things started the tv cable to watch it was not working didn’t have any tv reception for our stay they tried to take care of it and replaced the tv in our room but it was not the tv it was the cable co then we had RATS in the room at night the management tried to accommodate us with several rooms but no tv service as far as the rats we ended buying rat traps to be able to stay in the room second night we killed one last night there we killed two rats we enjoyed our stay in the day the view was awesome from our balcony but it was the problem with the cable service and the rats management was awesome trying to put us in other rooms to accommodate us but the reason we stayed in that room was the view that we paid they even offered us our money back if we wanted to leave but to find a place for the weekend would’ve been hard to find a room so we stuck it out that’s why I bought the traps so we didn’t have to go looking for another place the management did what they could to keep us happy but we stuck it out ownership needs to pursue these problems to get us back we really enjoyed our view from our belcony that’s why we stayed Wife wanted to leave but I talked her into sticking it out but I killed 3RATS now that issue really needs to be addressed we want to go back to the same lounge for the winter but hopefully these issues are taken care off by then management was doing there best to help us out but it has to do with ownership of lounge

Well after checking in we thought the room looked a little weird, but couldn’t quite put our finger on it. It wasn’t until after we laid down to go to bed that my wife felt something crawling on her leg and we flicked the light on to see what it was, and seen a bunch of cockroaches scattering all over the place, including the one that was running on her leg Once I called management at 11:30 to let them know that we’re checking out I was met with a lady Donna, who had a terrible attitude. And all I wanted to know was where I could leave the key because I wasn’t gonna subject myself or my wife to sleeping in a hotel that has cockroaches. Once I told her about this, she exclaimed that they never got complaints on room seven and that’s the handicap room. That explained why the room was just one box with a bed, which was really uncomfortable By the way…. I actually have a picture of it (roach) and I would love to upload it to this. I think I should get a refund and I would consider taking my review down if I was compensated.

OK, but with some effort could be excellent.

I rate the room OK. The essentials worked...bed was comfortable, hot water for shower. But there was only 1 chair in the room and none on the patio so we couldn't sit on the patio together, the handle on the microwave was half broken, no ice available anywhere, and the TV was small and about 13 or 14 feet from the bed so hard to view. Also no channels available, only via Internet connection so we watched Youtube videos.

Horror night

Horrible everything! This place has not been cleaned for YEARS (I’m not afraid to say that). It was scary to sleep, especially with an infant. I was scared of rats getting to my little one, so there was no sleep at all((( never had experienced anything like this in any hotels, and I traveled quite a bit throughout my life at different places in the world, never would imagine that somewhere in the US it is possible to see this kind of “picture” I cannot name it home nor hotel.

Dishwasher- I threw up after opening it. Stinks horribly.

DO NOT BOOK!!! The property pictures look nothing like the pictures. The room was digesting, dirty sheets, dirty floors. Window didn’t lock. Feels exceptionally unsafe. There is no playground. The beachfront is a joke. Looks like a property out of a horror movie. Exceptionally disgusting and terrifying. We ended up not checking in out of fear and leaving. The owner refused to go give a refund for our two night stay even though we never stayed due to the fact that the property is a health and safety violation waiting to happen.

DO NOT BOOK!!! I booked on here and I can assure you this property looks nothing like the pictures. The room was dirty, the sheets had actual rips in them. It's also a terrifying property. Looks like something out of a horror movie. I also was followed into the room my the male check in attendant whenI informed him of the state of the repulsive accommodations. This property is a serious health and safety concern. I rushed to my car with my soon and left right away. They charged my card for a to night stay and I didn't even check in. Truly a nightmare. Stay away for your health and safety.
