Great Fall getaway

Nice Property located in the center of the village. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need away from home. Counted 6 restaurants open within walking distance and tried them all. Highly recommend the unit and the village.

We can’t say enough about our stay & the host, the location & accommodations were excellent!! The hospitality which Ken provides along with a sunset boat ride were truly enjoyed by our family! Highly recommend staying in one of his units!!!

Cute place in the middle of town

Great location, able to walk everywhere- market, restaurants, church, and the lake. Plenty of bedroom space, well appointed kitchen. Most is in good condition. Nice big dining table and chairs for meals and games. Easy parking. Drawbacks- steep, narrow staircase to beds and bathroom. Several uneven thresholds. These can trip even the careful. I don’t think I would recommend for elderly or small children because of stairs. That being said, the place had old fashioned charm with modern comforts.

Great location, wonderful hospitality

We were greeted when we walked in with a thoughtful, personalized greeting. This historic home is right in the heart of everything and is walkable to everywhere in CHQ. Our kids particularly enjoyed the toys and games provided by the host as well as the proximity to the playground. Everything exceeded expectations as far as cleanliness and accuracy of the listing. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Perfect Home Base for Exploring Chautauqua Lake

My daughter and I stayed here as a mini Fall get-away. Ken’s place is lovely! It is a perfect balance between modernization and keeping the feel of the original building. Each apartment has its own character. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. The attention to detail (the welcome sign, bottle of wine…) and cleanliness were immediately apparent. The beds were comfortable. The shower was wonderful and the living room was cozy. The location is perfect for walking to the lake, coffee shop, restaurants and shops. Bemus Point itself is quaint and the people in the community are friendly. Ken readily responded and communicated with me as needed. He is very nice and helpful. You can see how much pride he has in the beautiful spaces he has created as he has transformed the house into 3 beautiful apartments. We look forward to returning to Ken’s place with our whole family in the future. It was the perfect location to use as a home base while exploring Lake Chautauqua.

Fun place to stay.

We enjoyed that the bedrooms were upstairs and the living areas were on the first floor. The house was surprisingly quiet being in the center of town. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen as well. Ken was extremely considerate as we were in town for a family function.

Loved it!

If I could give higher than a 5, I would. Ken was the perfect host and has created a place to stay that is welcoming and inviting. The location at Bemus Point can't be beat if you want to have a coffee shop across the street, restaurants on the next corner across from the lake and a safe, fun place to walk around and enjoy. We took a short ride up to Chautauqua Institute for an outdoor concert. Easy to get to and easy to get home with a night with friends and music. We will stay with Ken again when we go back to the lake.

Excellent Experience

My family really enjoyed our stay! Excellent communication with owner and the house was in a great location. Close enough to all the action but far enough away not to be bothered by noise. House was clean and well stocked with items you would need - but may not pack on your trip. This unit was quiet and didn't feel like it was part of a duplex. Wouldn't hesitate to book this again!

Excellent Rental!

If we could give 10 stars we would. Our rental was immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable and close to all shops, restaurants and a half block from Chautauqua Lake! There were bikes provided, wine, grill and more. Our host, Ken, was not only very available but a wonderful historian which only enriched our experience. We will return again and again!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!!!

Great place. Best front porch in town. There’s 3 units to rent, each a little different based on your travel needs. All 3 are really nice. Would definitely come back again. Came with family for vacation. Lots to do in the area.

Great Location in Bemus

The location of the property is fantastic with easy access to all of the Bemus Point shops and restaurants. Ken was a wonderful host, even including a free bottle of wine! We had 4 adults and two children staying in the property and found the property to be perfectly adequate. I’d highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a convenient location in Bemus with easy access to the lake and other attractions in the area.

We’ll Be Back Again

Bemus Point is a terrific small lake town and this property is right in the heart of it all. The house is newly updated and includes everything a family needs for a relaxing get away. The owner was thoughtful and responsive.

Ken was a great host! He was communicative, kind and thought of everything! He was fabulous!

Ken was a great host. However, my experience with Vrbo has not been great. The property was double booked. Thankfully, I booked first so it did not effect me and Ken bent over backwards to try to accommodate the other renters. Nevertheless, the check in process was a little nerve racking. The 4 star rating is for Vrbo. This actually happened to me with 2 other properties in Bemus Point. It’s never happened to me anywhere else. I use Vrbo and airbn all the time. I don’t know what is with this area. We truly enjoyed our stay and would rent with Ken again.
