Problems at check in so I had to pay again even though I had proof of payment with Hotels.com. She said my card was declined with you all when I didn’t even use a card as payment. Payed $25 extra to check in early when I was quoted $24. Staff directed us to the wrong room TWICE! For all the way down the hall and the room key didn’t work. Took nearly 45 minutes and twice the pay from initially checking in to getting in the room. Room hot when arrived. Air conditioner was partially unplugged. Then the room cooled off , but got incredibly hot during the night. The floors were moist with the heat.

The only blip was that we asked for an extra cot/mattress upon checking in and didn't get one, but we probably should've asked again when we returned to the hotel that night. Otherwise, a perfectly lovely experience for an LSU game.

Older, outdated property overall. Stained, very used furniture. However, room, bathroom was clean. Towels very white, clean looking. No hairdryer Didn’t use kitchenette but looked clean. Only silverware was a few knives. Hall carpet-filthy! Very nice front desk people. Front sliding door to property didn’t work-had to push it open. Would not want to stay here again but ok in a pinch. Price for stay was wayyyy too high.

When I arrived, I had to wait for 45 minutes for front desk to call Expedia because they would not release the funds to the Motel. The clerk demanded to be paid again for the room and to call Expedia at a later time. Expedia will not refund the charge. Room price paid on-site was much cheaper than Expedia pricing I paid. Very unhappy for being out this money. Expedia nor Motel 6 will take responsibility for this mistake. I want my money back now!!!!

Bad communication policy

When I got there, they would let me stay because I couldn’t find my confirmation number and they didn’t have my name in the system. Completely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was quite unpleasant. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was distracted, chatting on the phone during check-in, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. We were assigned a room in a hallway where the neighboring guests were extremely loud late into the night. Their behavior was inappropriate, and the noise level—specifically loud, explicit sounds—made both me and my stepdaughter very uncomfortable. While I understand this isn’t a luxury or specifically family-oriented hotel, basic decency and noise control should still be expected. I’m honestly surprised no one else complained, as the noise could be heard far down the hall. When I brought this up to staff in the morning, they seemed indifferent and acted like they had no idea what had happened. Once again, they were on their phones and not paying attention, which added to my frustration. Overall, I won’t be returning unless I have no other option. I can overlook the fact that this isn’t a high-end hotel, but I can’t overlook a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and a disregard for guest comfort.
