Great communication

The house is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed skiing for several of the days we were in town. The roads can be difficult to traverse even with 4 wheel drive, and the driveway is a bit difficult especially with ice/snow. There are a lot of stairs so be prepared to get some exercise! The kitchen is well equipped as we cooked the majority of our stay. The hot tub was wonderful to soak in after a day of skiing. We loss power one morning due to a storm, and the host was very helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental for others.

Beautiful getaway

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. The owner of the home was so helpful with everything and the house was beautiful and clean with amazing views. Great location to everything and we even got a good amount of snow for two days which was the cherry on the top. We went with a good size group (all family) and we all were so happy with the home and location. We will book again :)

Ski Beech 2023

Our stay was excellent we would rent from Melissa again, we had our 4 children & 2 friends it was perfect for the boys to be downstairs in the game room & the girls enjoyed their nice clean room upstairs. My wife & I loved every minute of we had a great time.

Late season family ski trip

Just as advertised. Well equipped kitchen,comfortable beds, very clean,and nice decks. We were snowed in one day but enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Short drive to ski area where conditions were surprisingly good for March. Cool to see the deer roaming around the property. The wooded setting must be beautiful in the summer. Would definitely consider a return visit.

Long weekend getaway

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The house is comfortable and the host is responsive. We had everything we needed. We were there during a snowfall, and I will say that navigating the roads up to the house was very difficult. Even with 4 wheel drive we ended up needing chains for our tires in order to make it up to the house. We would definitely go back again.

Family Easter Getaway

This was an amazing experience. The house was absolutely beautiful. The views were amazing! There were plenty of games to play and keep my 5 boys, daughter-in-law and granddaughter occupied. The hot tub was my go-to relaxation spot. It was the perfect place to go with a family to get away from stress and just enjoy each other. Plus, there was plenty to do not too far from the house as well. My crew loved the trails. And the owners are some of the sweetest people. They helped make our first family vacation without my kids dad the best in years. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic family lodge

We enjoyed a wonderful stay with great communication and hospitality provided by the host. The lodge provided activities and games for kids of all ages. There was plenty of space for our family to enjoy meals and fun times together. We were able to make it to the Beech Mountain Ski Resort within minutes. The views alone made the lodge unforgettable.

Great Location!

We absolutely loved the location and not a very far drive from town. We had a couple scheduling issues on our part, but Melissa was super accommodating and helpful. House was clean and cozy which included everything needed for our 4 night stay. The view from the front porch was amazing! Had quite a bit of snow before we arrived, which made the drive up that much more exciting.

Peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed spending Thanksgiving Week at this property. The house is ver clean and in updated condition. Our kids loved the pool table and fusbal and we all enjoyed hiking on nearby trails.

Amazing Home

Our stay at the Blue Bear's Den was amazing! The house was everything we had hoped for and more. We are a family of four (two teenage daughters), and everyone was happy with our accommodations. Check in was a breeze with the keyless entry pad. The house was extremely clean, and this is the very first thing I always look at when renting. This may be the first time I didn't feel like I had to clean before we could settle in. The beds were all very comfortable. The layout of the home is just perfect with a game room downstairs that includes a pool table, foosball table, and comfy, cozy area to watch TV/Movies in front of the fire place. Upstairs was also decorated beautifully and was so comfortable watching movies in front of the fireplace. Three full baths was also a godsend for us. The hot tub and outdoor firepit just pushes this rental over the top! Oh, and the view was spectacular! I can't say enough good things about this property, and we will definitely be back!
