"The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a small breakfast included which consisted of toast, egg, fruit and coffee / hot chocolate. The hotel is in the country so there isn’t much around. It is next to the river and close to the dam. There were a few restaurants a short drive away."

Definitely pay for the upgrade however bear in mind that it all closes at 8.30pm which is a little strange. Had I known I would have brought my own supplies for a few balcony drinks. Staff accommodated gluten free well, except for breakfast where there was no bread. Not the end of the world but a bit surprising given I could have had spaghetti the night before :)"
