The reviews are true. This property is very dated, however for the right price it is a decent place to stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped. There is an onsite ski rental shop, ski lockers, convenience store and wonderful onsens and pool area.

Travelers to Toyama will find 2 accommodation options within a convenient drive of Asahi-machi, although you won't find any within Asahi-machi itself.

The APA Hotel Uozu-Ekimae, Toyama, which is the closest accommodation, is 12 miles (20 kilometers) from the heart of Asahi-machi. A second convenient Travelocity-listed option is the Hotel Route-Inn Uozu, found in Toyama, 13 miles (20 kilometers) from the middle of Asahi-machi.

20 miles (34 kilometers) from downtown Asahi-machi, you will find the Tsurugi Koizuki. Alternatively, the Entaijiso can be found 10 miles (16 kilometers) away. The Unazuki Grand Hotel and also the Hotel Granmirage are two other places to base yourself in Asahi-machi.
