Gîte au Mouton d'Amédée - ARANDAS

Nestled in the hills above the hamlet of Indrieux, in the commune of Arandas, the Gîte du Mouton d'Amédée comprises two adjoining accommodations that can sleep up to 12 people, in a peaceful setting in the heart of the Bugey region. Upon arrival, two entrances allow you to explore the property at your own pace. From the large, elevated terrace, admire the unobstructed view of the village and the rolling landscapes of the Bugey – an ideal setting for relaxation. Inside, the living areas reveal all the charm of the house. Exposed stone walls, warm wood, and fully equipped kitchens opening onto the living areas create a welcoming and bright atmosphere. In the Gîte du Mouton, an old cider press recalls the building's agricultural past, while the custom-designed kitchen backsplashes featuring the farm's cows add an original and authentic touch. The two cottages are spread over several levels and have five bedrooms furnished with single beds (90 x 200 cm), several of which can be joined together as needed. Exposed beams, sloping ceilings, and the different levels all contribute to the charm of these old village houses. Fans are provided in the bedrooms. Located at an altitude of 700 meters, the hamlet generally enjoys cooler temperatures, often 5°C lower than in the valley. Outside, enjoy a large terrace, a private garden (depending on the cottage), and a pétanque court. A shared games room awaits you with a pool table, foosball, a library, and board games. For relaxation, a wellness area with a shower, toilet, and sauna is also available. The surrounding area offers numerous activities: hiking on the Hauteville Plateau, cycling along the Bugey roads, swimming in Lake Virieu-le-Grand, exploring the Cerveyrieu waterfall, the Hostiaz via ferrata, farmers' markets, and Bugey wine tasting. Gîte du Mouton offers: A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa bed, three bedrooms each with two single beds (90 x 200 cm). Bathroom with toilet. Gîte Amédée offers: A living room with a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms: one with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) and one with four single beds (90 x 200 cm), two of which can be joined upon request. Bathroom with toilet. The communal parking lot is located behind the house. Travel light: linens are provided. End-of-stay cleaning is available as an option.
