Welcoming Visit

The proprietor makes you feel like you're staying with friends! Very welcoming and warm. The accommodations are not fancy, but it was clean and functional. Met our needs for a place to stay near Olympic National Park.

We had a fantastic stay! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless and super comfortable. The location is beautiful surrounded by lush forestry and just a two-hour drive from the Hoh Rainforest. We mentioned we were leaving at 7am to get to the rainforest by 9, and they advised us to leave earlier. So glad we did we got there at 8am with only five people in line. Two hours later, over 250 cars had shown up! Their advice saved the day. Can’t recommend this place enough .. clean, peaceful, and run by genuinely lovely people.

Loved my overnight stay, tried to book two more nights on way back but they were filled. The owners are friendly, gracious and helpful! Genuinely kind people. My room was clean and comfortable. There is a dorm size fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathtub/shower combination was spotless. The property and neighborhood felt safe and Aberdeen's Walmart was less than five miles or so. I was able to stock up. I was there for the night to do laundry at a local place, next day, while dispersed camping in Olympic National Forest near Quinault Rainforest. (Go to Speedy in town, very kind to travelers!) I will stay at this motel whenever I am passing through.

I felt as though I was greeted by relatives. I was a late arrival, but their only concerns were my safety and that I enjoyed my trip. My room was warm when I got in it. They offered complimentary water, soda and other beverage for cheap purchase. The room was just as homey as the staff. They helped me find dinner and breakfast. I missed this motel stay almost as much as I miss the hoh rainforest. Very pleased!
