"The unit was a little dated, but good size and in good shape. The downer was the bed. Very soft and uncomfortable. For the price we paid our expectations were higher. A fridge is a fridge, but a good bed is critical. Also there wasn't much to walk to within a 5-10 minute walk of the resort."

"This is our second year at Legacy Steamboat Springs Hilltop in the after-summer shoulder season—value is unbeatable. Hotels.com + credit cards got us well under $100/night. Studio lofts deliver luxury via two-story ceilings, fifth/“sixth”-floor views, and an angled skylight ideal for storms or stars. Severe drought and above-normal heat left the loft a bit warm in late-August evenings (last year’s mid-September stay was cool). Full kitchen shines: apartment fridge/freezer with ice trays & pitcher, garbage disposal, large sinks with stream/shower nozzle, flat-top electric range/oven, blender, toaster, 12-cup coffee maker, pots, boards & full utensils plus ample cupboard/closet storage. Ideal for couples or solo (with pets); pull-out bed would tighten space. Under 5 min to City Market, Safeway, Walmart, Natural Grocers, Starbucks, McDonald’s & main-trail spots. Perfect base for Pearl Lake State Park fall colors. Free EV charging covers transport via resort fee. Front desk replaced a smashed coaxial cable before I finished showering. We’ll return—this ranks among our top spots in Colorado and the U.S. Don’t miss Spring Creek Trail (pack bear spray!). Mattresses/pillows feel more worn and minor touch-ups are needed, yet nothing spoiled the stay. True home-away-from-home for nature without breaking the bank."
