Lincolnville Motel
"We checked in for a two-night stay in Lincolnville on our way back down to NYC from Bar Harbor, and it was the ultimate place to catch our breath. While we were recovering from Acadia, the kids instantly bypassed their screens to become full-time vinyl DJs on the in-room record player, when they weren't busy exploring the gorgeous grounds. The owner, Alice, has completely nailed that elusive "welcoming-but-supremely-laid-back" coastal vibe. The motel is conveniently situated just two minutes away from our morning coffee and market runs, and a quick 10 minutes from downtown Camden and Mount Battie. Our only regret? We wish we had more nights to actually enjoy the pool, sauna, fire pit, and Lincolnville Beach nearby. The ultimate review, though, comes from the kids—they are already asking if we can stay here the next time we come back to Maine!"
