Sobaeksan Punggi Spa Resort
Perfect for short trip. We booked ondol room - it has no beds, you sleep on mats on heated floor. There is a small seating area in the lobby with microwave if needed. Short walk from the hotel there is a ginseng museum- it was great for kids and it is free

Danyang Tourist Hotel Edelweiss
A little bit dated however it is well maintained and very clean. A fair walk in to town but a pleasant walk alongside the river and handy for the station. Nice reception staff

Orayeon Hotel Yeongwol
It is a rural area with summer visitors are more popular, and this hotel is a small however, very clean and spacious for our stay. For the price, cleanliness, bedding, and the amenities are very well prepped.

The staff made extra efforts to accommodate me since am a foreigner who cannot speak Korean. They provided a complimentary swimming pool ticket for 2 adults and a free table with two chairs at the pool. Pool and chairs cost extra so be prepared for that. Browndot Hotel Yeongju Jungang Branch
외부는 뭐 그렇게 깨끗해 보이진 않았지만 내부는 굉장히 깨끗하고 청결하고 좋았습니다. 특히 침구류가 너무 깨끗해서 잠을 잘 잤어요. 아침에 주는 간단한 식사도 너무 좋았고요, 다음에 다시 방문하겠습니다.
