Hotel Pearl City Hachinohe
I had a very good stay at this smaller hotel near Hon-hachinohe station. I like the clean room, useful coin laundry, nice bento breakfast and pleasant staff. There is a supermarket just beside the hotel, and an Aeon Town about five minutes walk away along a small canal.

Received very warm welcome from the staffs. Room was cleaned and spacious. Enjoy breakfast with beautiful garden view.

Smile Hotel Hachinohe
Disappointing. Property is very run down, lots of damaged patches in walls and floors etc. Lobby etc seemed fine but the room and the hallway outside it smelled very bad, like the carpets have never been cleaned or something is going moldy.

Location was great, hotel was clean, and it was a good value for money. I’m generally not a fan of automated check-in and check-out, but it actually worked pretty well. I would stay here again if flying in or out of Tokyo.
