"The pub and restaurant was lovely, as was the breakfast, the room unfortunatly was a little tired , stain on bedding even though it was clean. Shower leaked and ran all over the floor, ants everywhere we even brought them home, yuck, and there are lights in the bedroom that are two bright for a good nights sleep we tried to cover them but to no avail and noise from the other bedrooms was also a problem"

"Dirty towels on the corridor floor for at least 20 hours. Room carpet badly stained. Room smelt musty and was tired and poorly equipped. Key cards kept failing and had to be reprogrammed. Communal areas were grim and unwelcoming. A very depressing stay despite the staff trying to be helpful. "

"Very warm welcome from from reception on my arrive. Grounds and hotel is lovely. My only slight grumble is I had a dead bug/ beetle in my room on the floor and a small dead moth clinging to the folds in my towel in the bathroom. Breakfast was great. Lots to chose from."
