Our room was newly renovated and had a lovely view with a big window and nice balcony to enjoy it. The room was very simple and met our needs. I am not sure if the room is completely finished or not. Some of the finish work needs to be cleaned up still. There were spots that had been done hastily and look dirty rather than unfinished. It's a simple fix. It would be nice to have more space to hang up towels and clothes. The ability to charge phones on both sides of the bed would also be nice. We didn't realize that the property was still being renovated. The construction noise wasn't overwhelming as we did not spend much time at the hotel during the day. The work was being done inside which helped buffer the sound when we were there. However, the crew's music woke us up in the morning. We also didn't realize that the pool was not open which was disappointing. It would also be nice to get the bar/restaurant hours as part of the check-in sheet. We would have gone there had we known when it was open. There was no sign with hours, so we ate elsewhere. Overall, we had a great time in the area! I will go back to Watkins Glen, but will consider staying somewhere else. The view from the hotel is the thing that would bring me back to this property.

Great location close to restaurants, wineries and hiking. Breakfast could be improved. Location was clean. Beds and furniture could use updating. A mini fridge and microwave was missed!
