Just loved it!

Location: 8 minute walk to a lovely beach, 15 mins to shopping and a little further to a grocery and restaurants. Easy access to one of main highways.
We were there last week, had a 1-bedroom condo with full kitchen, laundry facilities, lovely outside sitting area. Can't say enough about this place. We stayed there 2 years ago and found it excellent value and so very comfortable. Why would anyone want to stay in a hotel when something like this is available. Plenty of easy-access parking, lovely views in every direction (we face the petroglyph field and golf course. Quiet, clean, comfortable furniture, spacious. We will return to the big island and will definitely stay there again.

Nice complex but units need work

Pros: The grounds are kept very nice
Cons: Unit #236 needs a complete remodel. if it were mine I would be embarrassed to rent.
Location: Go to Lava Lava for lunch and play in the water with the turtles. We went three times. Take a tour of the Hilton. A very unique hotel.
The buildings look nice and the grounds are nice, but the unit I was given #236 in the Bo Tree Tower really needs some upgrading. It was filled with very dusty plastic plants which I moved to the closets. The dust was so bad I had to clean every area they were. Most of the fixtures in the bathrooms were rusty and had lime deposits around the fittings. The mattresses were so old that they had that egg carton foam to sleep on top of the mattresses. The table on the lanai was all rusty. Then there was the kitchen--there was four frying pans, one glass oven dish, and very little utensils. The can opener was from 1950's. We were charged for the internet which did not work. We had a repair man come to fix it. It worked for one day. They charge you to use the safe, per day. My key worked about 1/3 of the time. Very old rusty lock. I could go on. I have stayed in lesser priced places and expect less, but I was paying $300 per night. I feel like I have been taken, and will not stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Quiet
Our two bedroom unit was very spacious and very comfortable. We had a ground floor unit with a large lanai. The kitchen was tiny , but quite sufficient. We had a lot of privacy and enjoyed our stay.

needs updating

We stayed in a two bedroom suite (family 2 adults 2 children) The room definately needs updated. THe carpet was extremely dirty and just needed replaced. The window blinds were broken non functional and missing many pieces. The window in our bathroom didnt shut and we got alot of noise from other guests early in the moring because of it. The washer and dryer were nice to have as well as the extra bathroom. But the locaton was also a problem we had to drive long distances for everything. We were not impressed with the kings shops very over priced with little selection. Stop in Kona and do your shoping. The concierge was wonderful. He had a desk out at the pool he gave us wonderful advise on excursions, maps other personal tips. He was by far the best concierge we have ever delt with.
