Great House but not as advertised
The house itself was great. It was very spacious, had a separate tv room for the kids, and every bedroom had its own bathroom which was great. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The faucet was not working on arrival, we texted Vacasa and someone came out the next day and got it working. We were not able to wash dishes in the sink the first night. What was a big bummer is that the house advertised a private hot tub. This was something that we prioritized when searching for rentals. I even emailed ahead of time to confirm that the hot tub was functioning and that it was accessible. I received an email confirming that the hot tub was working and that it was accessible. When we got to the house we realized that was not the case. The snow outback went higher than the sliding glass doors, completely burying the hot tub. This was a disappointment as I said we filtered our search for a house with a hot tub.
We were also charged a hot tub fee, and in searching for many houses, found that houses with private hot tubs were more expensive to rent than those without.
The second day into our stay I spoke with someone locally and was told that we would be reimbursed for the hot tub fee and compensated a daily amount as well, as the house was not as it was advertised. I am still waiting almost two weeks later.
