"I was so thankful to have booked Domaine de la Reine Margot last week. The heat in Paris was dangerous, but Domaine and Issy de Moulineaux offered respite and relaxation. We loved the breakfast and had cool drinks every afternoon on the patio. We used the pool every day and treated our weary, overheated bodies to massages. Our room was a relief from the heat. I knowingly chose a hotel off the beaten track because I knew we needed a bit more space and I was looking for a pool because I suspected the weather would be hot. We used a combo of taxis (20 minutes) and metro (30-45 min) to go into Paris from Issy, but honestly, I would have been content to stay in Issy more to explore. Lots of good restaurants and fun things going on. Maybe my favorite memory of our trip was staying up with my 6 year old until 11pm on our last night in France. We stepped right outside of the hotel to catch the glittering Tour d'Eiffel. It was simple, and lovely,"
