"This was a last minute thing that my family member had booked with her friend but unfortunately there was a family emergency that meant she was unable to go. I jumped at the opportunity as My sister, who has had cancer and in remission, was able to come with me. We obviously knew all the details of the location and accommodation, but when it came to go to bed, up a ladder, we expected a room, but instead there was a thin double mattress on a platform of wood, and there was no way we could stand up, so if we needed the loo in the night we had to climb over each other which wasn’t ideal as you can imagine. It was full of flys that drove you crazy, also there were 2 fly traps hanging from the ceiling with dead flies stuck to them. The hot tub was so hot we couldn’t stay in it as you couldn’t relax in it. We decided to sleep on the sofa bed the next night, you could feel the springs and had lumps and bumps everywhere, my back, which I have a degenerative condition, is hurting me so much today. There wasn’t any sun-loungers, only a wooden table and 2 wooden benches so it was luck we’d decided to take our own. We had a lovely time together, it was so peaceful, with the sound of birds singing and the sheep that roamed freely. I hate giving negative feedback but this place needs a few changes."
