Great property for a couple, spacious 2 stories for a 1 bed, beautiful sunny bedroom, happy houseplants and whimsical decor. Paul is a gracious host. Convenient to Portland and minutes from the awesome Scratch Baking Co. near Willard Beach and SoPo Seafood market for oyster bar or great fresh fish. Sparkly clean and comfortable for cooking in. As a country bumpkin, parking spot and busy road takes some getting used to but works fine once you figure it out, it is near the city after all, but private access to the beach 4 mi away was a fun bonus. Great value and highly recommended!

Great property for a couple's vacation. Location about 7 minutes from downtown Portland; but there was plenty to do on the south side of Portland as well. Great restaurants and shops, Portland Head Lighthouse about 10 minutes away, biking and hiking as well. Apartment was very clean, with all accoutrements for cooking (if desired) or just hangin' out. Looking out the back window, you wouldn't know you had neighbors - just bushes and trees. Parking is a bit tricky near the curb of the road, but once we got used to it, we didn't have any problems.Very comfortable king size bed, and two huge tvs for entertainment. Furniture was comfortable, and the radiant heat floors were great to keep your feet warm.All in all, a great stay - highly recommend it to couples looking to vacation around Portland.

Beautiful House - Great Location

This property was beautiful and well maintained with plants everywhere. Although it is in South Portland, it is a short 5.minute drive across rhe bridge to Portland city and the docks. Only drawback for us as seniors.is the bedroom and barhroom being upstairs.

Easy access to Portland!

The property was close to the main road into Portland, so could get into Eventide restaurant and Solo Italiano which we recommend! If you’ve got kids, the property might not fit the bill if they need to stretch their legs outside, but perfect for a couples weekend getaway. It was quite hot our weekend there, and the air conditioner wasn’t working, but open the windows in the evening and that worked well. Loved all the plants, new kitchen, and well stocked for someone coming in to visit! Thanks team!

Gorgeous, and well appointed!

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property for a couple's getaway. The home was beautiful and had everything we would need. The only drawback was the street noise. I'd recommend bringing a white noise machine for sleeping.

Awesome Spot

The cottage was as advertised. Perfect for 2 people. Well stocked with kitchen and other amenities. Very clean. The location is perfect for touring in and around Portland. We went South, North and EastWe highly recommend it.

Beautiful home close to everything!

We had such an amazing time at this property. Everything was very clean and stocked with all the essentials needed to have a great getaway. Very close to everything but just far enough away to feel like you’re not in the city. Will definitely be going back soon!

Peaceful green space

This is a spacious, beautifully appointed house designed for two. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, who could not have been more helpful. The house is full of plants and surrounded with flowers and all manner of greenery. The only things that would have improved the experience were security features in the bathroom, like grab bars and a rubber tub mat.

Lovely summer get away

Charming cottage in a convenient location to area beaches. The cottage was thoughtfully decorated, with a well supplied kitchen. The proximity to burbling Trout Brook provided a calming offset to traffic on Ocean Ave. Comfortable bed and all was very clean. Our host was very responsive. The gardens were lovely.

Perfect house for a getaway!

My girlfriend and I wanted to visit Portland. I came across this home and although it is not in downtown, it is a very short drive to downtown. The property itself was very clean, well stocked, and modern. Perfect size for 2 people to stay. The check-in process was easy as well as the check out process. I would 10/10 recommend this home to anyone and I would stay here again if I ever come back to Portland!

Portland Vacation

Had a great time. A little road noise but not to bad. Close to downtown. We took an Uber into downtown about a 10 minute drive. Cheaper than parking. House was very clean. Only used the TV downstairs which was great.

Top Notch

Beautiful cottage in a location convenient to Portland. It was so quick and easy to get into Portland but also enjoyed biking around South Portland and seeing the lighthouses. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our only complaint was that it was a little noisy because of traffic from the road.

Portland Getaway

This was a lovely cottage that provided a cozy, homey environment for my husband and I for our weekend away. It had a great location, only 10 minutes from downtown Portland and easy access to lighthouses and beaches. Very quiet neighborhood and beautiful flowers surrounding the house!

weekend in south portland

we had a great time in south portland. this house was conveniently located to all of the places we wanted to visit. the house was very clean and all towels and linens were provided which was great - one less thing we had to pack with us! we loved that there was a grill at the house! the only thing we weren’t a fan of was not being allowed to park in the driveway and that the parking spot was on the side of the road on a busy street. also, we could only turn the downstairs TV on and off using the button on the side of the TV - the remote didn’t work, so it was stuck on one channel. and the TV upstairs didn’t have cable and we could only watch Netflix. overall it was a good place to stay for 3 nights - you can tell they put a lot of work into it!
