Beautiful cabins with an amazing view

We were both surprised and impressed at how nice the cabins were - they look brand-new, with very nice appliances, finishing, etc. By far the best place to stay in the area! Wonderful views, easy access from the road, and very comfortable beds. We're staying again next year!

Cozy cabin on the Jeff

Deb and John are truly super hosts and made every effort to make our stay memorable. The cabin is spotless and very well equipped. Beds are comfortable; just what you need after a day fishing or exploring the area. Can’t wait to make a return visit.

Wonderful place to stay

John and Deb are wonderful hosts. They made us feel like family. We had a wonderful stay at their 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was amazing, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. We will be back in the fall and won't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Deb and John for everything. We can't wait to see you again.

Great accommodations with breath taking views

We absolutely loved our stay in one of the Silver Star cabins. Our cabin was well maintained, very clean, and with with all of the amenities from home. There is plenty to do within a relatively short drive but we ended up spending the majority of our time taking in the incredible views from the front porch and walking down the Jefferson river. Debbie and John were fantastic hosts who went over and above to ensure our stay was everything we wanted. This is by far one of the best VRBO accommodations that we've found and would recommend it without reservations.

Amazing!!

This spot is magical - do not hesitate to book! Convenient, clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. Watching the birds over the Jefferson from the porch - and east access to the river - was an added bonus. Wow! A huge thank you to Hilary, who was incredible to work with.

Mountain views and birds

The cabin was very clean and the screens kept out the evening mosquitos. The kitchen is super stocked for cooking with ample cooking tools and eating utensils plus a shelf of spices and plastic containers. The bird songs and watching the sunset on the mountains end your day, and the sunrise is just as good. Beautiful country and great location for hiking in nearby National Forests.

Great location for fishing SW Montana

The brand new cabin was clean and perfect for two of us to stalk trout on the area's numerous rivers. The owners live on site and are a wealth of information about the area. Cell phone coverage is spotty in that part of Montana but the cabin's wifi was fine. The satellite TV was great to catch up on news and sporting events. The closest place to eat is 10 miles away in Twin Bridges but not a problem.

Loved Every Minute

Wonderful in every way! The cabins are beautiful, new and immaculately kept. Much attention has been paid by John & Deb to every detail a guest could need. The area is both picturesque, historic and interesting, with many outdoor opportunities. It is beautiful and tranquil. But the best part of our stay was meeting and talking to Deb & John. They're delightful, interesting and a joy to interact with. Wish we were neighbors and we hope to come back soon. Best Vrbo experience ever!

Perfection on the Jefferson

Deb and John are consummate hosts who want their guests to relax and enjoy this special part of Montana. The cabin is spotless and equipped with everything one needs. The beds are super comfortable. A great find in a peaceful location. We will be back again.

Came to Twin Bridges to fish. The cabin was basically new, well appointed and emaculatly maintained. Deb, the host, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Thanks Deb!

So, I'll start with the bad. My wife forgot my pajamas and there were none stocked in the cabin that fit me. Now the good. This place looked like it was staged for a "Better Homes and Gardens" photo shoot. Everything was perfect. Everything was just right. Everything was immaculately clean. If this place isn't good enough for you, you have issues.

Fabulous Experience!

The property was beyond my expectations. The cabin was beautifully furnished, decorated and clean. The views from our porch were spectacular! Our hosts John and Deb were so welcoming, gracious and could not have been more helpful if we had any questions. We are definitely planning return trips, and are so lucky to have found new friends in John and Deb!

Awesome!!!!

This is a simple review for me as it was an awesome stay with Deb and her husband. They not only went the extra mile for my family but they did it and liked it. It really showed how much they cared about us being comfortable and happy. They were not only our host, but they were our on-site tour company full of information on the area and places to go. STOP A MINUTE....I have to say the cabin was also the cleanest cabin we ever stayed in, and believe me when I say that, as we stay in a lot and do a lot of traveling. Deb you guys are the best and I can never thank you enough!!! Isiah and crew

Deb and John were fabulous hosts! The cabin was gorgeous and well maintained, and they had a lot of great information about local fishing spots. They really went out of their way to make our trip special for us! We will definitely recommend them to friends in the area, and hope we can get back some day!!

Wonderful stay with beautiful views!

My family and I stayed at Deb and Jon’s place for 5 nights. My husband worked and my 2 kids did distance learning in the morning and we had plenty to explore in the afternoon/evenings. It is rare to find internet in rural Montana that can handle 3 people on Zoom calls at the same time! The views of the mountains and river were gorgeous - especially with the fall colors! Deb and Jon were welcoming and fantastically accommodating to us and extremely helpful in guiding us to our next afternoon adventure. The cabin was one of the most clean places I have ever stayed and the pictures don’t do it justice! The beds were super comfortable! It was cozy and there was more than enough room for all 4 of us. Deb and Jon are such amazing hosts that we now consider them family 😉. We will definitely be back to stay with them!

Beaverhead Cabin

We loved our stay at Silver Star. The Beaverhead Cabin was very clean, had all the necessities we needed for our 2 night stay, and was nicely decorated. Deb was a wonderful host! I highly recommend this place.

Deluxe accommodations in Silver Star, MT

A wonderfully stocked cabin, better than advertised! Deb was an excellent communicator and warm and inviting to myself, husband and 3 children. She provided some outdoor games and fishing poles for the kids. The cabin has many spices, a few cooking oils, instant coffee and filters. It is very clean and organized well with heating units and an electric fireplace. The beds and bedding are comfortable. Deb and John are very friendly and helpful with directions. Hubby and 11 yo son went fly fishing all day while I took the 8 and 5 yo to the nearby kids fishing hole, played outside and visited some alpacas. Lots of extra touches such as many cooking items (pots, pans, electric thermos) and reading lights in the bunk beds. We all had a wonderful time and will return. Thank you Deb and John, appreciate your wonderful hospitality.

Roomy Accomodations

My buddy and I were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic accommodations on our yearly hunting trip to MT. This was our first time with Deb & John and the cabin was super clean and stocked with supplies so we were ready to cook. Great views in every direction and close proximity to public land made this the perfect location for our base camp. Though the weather was snowy and cold we were able to fill our tags. We hope to come back in the spring to do some serious fishing!!
