Relax and enjoy this recently renovated cozy cottage just 2.5 miles from the heart of Shipshewana. Close enough to enjoy all this small town has to offer and just a short drive back from a busy day at the shops where you can enjoy an evening relaxing under the large shade trees by the wishing well in the secluded back yard. From the front porch is a nice view of a neighboring farm and you can enjoy seeing the many amish buggies as they stroll by. If you have a sweet tooth, another perk is the cute little frozen custard /ice cream stand within walking distance of this cozy getaway.
Inside you will find wireless internet, dish tv with all your favorites, DVD/Blue Ray player, a gas log fireplace with comfy seating space to unwind after a long day as well as a cozy nook for reading or having that morning cup of coffee. A Keurig coffee machine highlights this bright full size kitchen stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans needed to prepare your favorite gourmet meal if you choose. Microwave, electric skillet, toaster, electric griddle and hand mixer as well as oil, salt & pepper and a complete spice rack are all provided. Loved the set up of this house! Nicely stocked with first 24 hour essentials so we didn’t have to go to the grocery right off. Nice location close to town. Enjoyed our stay!

Wish I could have stayed longer

This lovely little cottage is just as advertised. It's tucked back off the road, so my only challenge was driving by the first time I tried to find it. Cozy furniture, a great floor plan, and a wonderfully open kitchen made it a very easy place to stay for a night. I do wish I could have stayed longer!

Honeymoon Get Away

We were married on April 26 and choose Shipshewana as our honeymoon destination. We loved the cottage and found it to be well furnished and comfortable. We especially welcomed the extra bottles of cold water, and the hot shower. This was an easy location to go out from in all directions. It was a little difficult initially to find the address, but the picture helped us. We would stay there again. Five stars from us.

Always a great experience when we stay here. Best option when visiting shipshewanna. Clean, comfortable, a little home away from home. Living area with plenty of seating. Kitchen equipped with all the essentials. Front porch to sit and watch the world go by. It is about three miles from shops. Close to road leading to Michigan. Try this place for a little getaway. You won’t be disappointed.

Our 2nd Great Stay

This is our 2nd time staying at this cute and cozy home. The host is super nice and very accommodating. We went to two concerts at Blue Gate and this property is the perfect location for that. Just far enough out of town to be quiet but yet close enough to make it a quick trip to the venue and everything else the town has to offer. The home has a vintage vibe but also charming and very comfortable for two couples. We had a lovely time and will book it next time we come into town.

Cozy Spot not far from town

While we didn't spend much time in the home as we were in town for a business show, our time there was really comfortable. We had snow on our visit which was shoveled off and brushed around our vehicles as well.

Second time around

This is one cozy, clean,safe place to stay. Located about 3 miles from downtown shipshewanna easy access to shopping, blue gate theater, restaurants. It has dish washer, washer and dryer, small outside front porch. We returned because we found it so peaceful and clean. Kitchen with all you need. We stayed here before and hope to return.

Lovely little home in Amish Country

Pleasantly surprised with the overall cleanliness and comfort the home had to offer! Great location to downtown Shipshewana. We went to the Bluegate theater, so just a short straight shot, maybe 5 minutes from the house.

Excellent cottage

Carla is a great host. The house is wonderful, many amenities, seasonal decor, and much more. This was our second stay and we will go again next year. It is close to everything you may want to do. Beautiful cottage!
