Very convenient to the art gallery, big room with balcony so we could sleep with the screen insect closed and the door open, rather than use air conditioning. The quality of furniture and bedding was good, some traffic noise which we preferred to using air con. Easy off street parking, for which there was no charge. Would happily base myself here to explore the region.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that offered a mix of positives and a few drawbacks. Here’s a detailed account of my experience: #Location The best feature of this hotel was undoubtedly its location. Everything was conveniently located just around the corner, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. #Room Quality I found the room to be spacious, which was a delight. It provided enough comfort for a relaxing stay. #Staff The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, contributing significantly to our overall experience. Their warmth and willingness to assist made us feel welcome throughout our stay. #Dining We had lunch at the hotel, and it was both fresh and delicious. The quality of the food was impressive. However, breakfast was served as a buffet with limited options compared to other hotels in Victoria, especially considering the price we paid. This was a bit disappointing but not a deal-breaker. #Noise Issues One significant downside was our room's location. We were assigned a room facing the lake and the main road, which meant we could hear people playing and screaming in the park. The noise carried on until about 2 AM, which disrupted our sleep. It would have been great if the rooms were more soundproof to provide a better night’s rest. Overall, despite the noise issue and limited breakfast options, my stay was quite good. The combination of location, spacious rooms, friendly staff and tasty meals made it enjoyable.

We are a family of 4 and our stay has been so amazing. The best part is the sauna after a long and tiring day. Kids stayed in the spa as the indoor pool is very cold. We stayed in one of the grand suites and loooovvveeeddddd it. We had everything we needed in that room.

My grandson was excited for a swim in the pool but when we got there it was not heated (the middle of winter). The rooms were clean but dated and the bed was hard. Room service was not available after 8.15pm even though it was a Friday night and meals were still being ordered and served in the restaurant. The hotel demanded a $200 deposit or you could not stay so on top of paying $210 for the room it meant $410 had come out of my account before I even entered the room, unlike other accommodation where they just have a copy of your cc details. There are nearly 100 rooms at this hotel so if it is full that is $20,000 that the hotel is holding overnight - what do they do with this money? Overall a disappointing experience and I would not stay there again. Look elsewhere.
