The layout of the unit was great. I specifically wanted no steps at all so that my friend in a wheelchair could visit. This place was perfect for that and she was thrilled to get out of her facility for an afternoon.I didn't do much cooking, but for the little I did, I found everything I needed, except a gripper to open jars and bottles, but there might have been one if I had searched further.Our son and family stayed with us a few days and our five-year-old granddaughter loved the puzzles and played Jenga for the first time. And won.Since we had mostly cold rain during our stay, my husband toasted in front of the fireplace like a marshmallow. The fireplace warmed the entire unit, which was very nice and gave us a feeling of home, not renting.We had some issues with the weird parking situation, but that might have been more of an because of the hateful weather.The bed and pillows were very, very comfortable. The master tub was a bit slippery and difficult to maneuver for us old folks, but when I mentioned it to the host he assured me those issues would be rectified.There were a few other little things, but what is important is that the host was rapid-fire-fast addressing the issues. I didn't have to wait for a response or result. To me, that is everything, because there will always be glitches, but when the host addresses them with haste and concern, that is what is most important. I would rent from Dan again in a heartbeat.
