Progressive disappointment throughout stay
We stayed in June and had difficulty from day one. 1. There is no indication of the address for the cabin, not at the road, the drive way or on the cabin. So arrival is a guessing game.2. The driveway and play area are overgrown, so if you are protective of your vehicle getting scratches rethink your stay because it’s a steep walk up to the cabin.3. We found used contacts and a clogged drain which we resolved ourselves after outreach was not responded to.4. There was no indication that the outdoor grill had propane running to it, we cooked inside. Apparently it has its own gas line, I was notified yesterday (a week after we checked out).5. Do not buy groceries your first night, the refrigerator does not cool until about 48 hours later no matter how minimal groceries you have inside.6. There is construction of sorts across the street that starts at 7am, loud yelling back and forth, heavy equipment and even occasional partial blockage of the driveway from the construction vehicles making it difficult to pull in and out safely. 7. It could have been a fellow vacationer or a resident, but during our entire stay the house above the back porch had dogs out that barked constantly. So we couldn’t enjoy the front porch due to construction and couldn’t enjoy the back porch because the dogs would bark if we were outside.8. Of course resolution will be made for others staying according to the response I received from our complaints, with no offer to make things right for us.
