Great set up for pets with plenty of room for kennels in the garage . Also bathroom and laundry on that level was very handy . Nice area to take off your sandy boots etc before going up to the living area. Easy and close beach access . Wonderful family home

Filthy Home - needs attention before renting out again

While the location of the home was beautiful and the amenities were appreciated, I must express my disappointment with the overall cleanliness of the property. I don’t typically leave reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s necessary to share my experience.As the owner of a residential cleaning company, I’m well-acquainted with the standards expected for rental turnovers. Unfortunately, this property fell far below those standards. Upon arrival, we encountered a level of filth that was both unacceptable and distressing. What was intended to be a relaxing getaway quickly turned into a stressful experience. The poor upkeep even raised concerns about the potential presence of bed bugs.I contacted the owner to address these issues, but the response I received felt automated and impersonal, lacking any real acknowledgment of our concerns. This only added to our frustration.Given the condition of the home, I believe some form of compensation is warranted. I’ve documented the issues with photos and am happy to provide them upon request.It’s concerning that the property was approved for rental in its current state. It clearly requires a deep clean—not just a routine turnover—before it’s rented again. Based on this experience and the dismissive response we received, I do not plan to book through Vacasa in the future.
There were ling hairs and food debris in the refrigerator.
Showers and tubs need attention.
Dirty blinds and also missing blinds in the upstairs bathroom which gave no privacy for showering or using restroom
Entire home had unknown dirt splatter and sticky substance throughout the house

Great location quiet and easy walk to the beach

We had a nice weekend in Seaside Haven. It was clean and uncluttered. The house is very spacious, with generous bedrooms and a very comfortable kitchen/dining/living area. We really appreciated the easy walk to the beach and the nice decks for sitting outside. The location was also quiet and peaceful. Would recommend.

Things not working

The washing machine and dryer in the bedroom with the queen bed (main floor) not easily accessible due to being in a closet. The dryer in lower level wasn't working.The back door off the kitchen would not open because the door was swollen shut and the deck was warped and not safe.Otherwise, the bed were comfortable and the jaunt to the beach was close. Also, lots of sand dollar shells were in this part of the beach.Oh yes, the left side of the refrigerator was a bit of a hassle since it could not be opened all the way.Other than the problems mentioned, we enjoyed our family outing to celebrate 3 birthdays and the Mothers Day.

Great house!

The house was really clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed! The house was well laid out and 2 masters on their own floor was wonderful. There were a lot of games and the pool table was a great hit! Having three floors was great for everyone to spread out. It was close to the beach, which was nice. We would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at Seaside Haven

The location to the beach is great, and the size of the house for a larger family is wonderful. It is nice that there are many games provided and the deck areas are nice to sit out and look at the ocean. Although when you read other reviews it has been said several times that the repairs and a deep cleaning would be helpful to this house I am not sure this advise gets taken. The master bedroom slider window is missing a third of its vertical slats so you do not feel like it is very private when dressing. The blinds on many windows need replaced. The back yard fire pit area has lots of items in the yard around it so it is a tripping hazard for little ones at night while having a fire. I think if all these things would really get addressed it would be a great place to vacation.

Seaside Vacay

It was especially nice to have 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, so we all had separate spaces. The house was clean, other than the blinds, and windows, which would be hard to keep clean in the coast climate. Several screens were torn/worn enough that we didn't want to open those windows. Large assortment of games, but pieces missing in the ones we looked at. It would be good to weed those out. It would also be good to go through all of the electronics, remotes, cords, dvrs to make sure that things match and have working batteries. The dining arrangement worked for us with the kids sitting at the counter. We enjoyed our stay and hope you take the detailed comments in a constructive way. It is a nice house and easy to get to the beach!

Great space, not very clean

We loved the location. We were very sad about the level of cleanliness. It seemed like whoever cleaned it did the bare minimum to prep it for us. In the master, the slider door blinds were partially broken upon arrival, meaning sunlight was coming in first thing in the morning. The tv in the living room did not have anything other than a dvd player, but the ad said it was a smart tv. We assumed we would have been able to login to other apps like Netflix, but couldn’t. I chatted with the support who said they were going to set me up with someone local to come fix the issue and then never heard anything else. We ended up never being able to use the tv in the living room for the whole trip.

Beautiful home in excellent location

Very well-appointed home in superb location. Ocean dunes are 30 yards from the front door in the quiet north end of town; easy walk to the north end of the Prom and straigh shot into town. We spent a post-holiday weekend decompressing from the winter break madness, and it was perfect. Well-stocked kitchen for cooking together, cozy gas fireplace (and responsive manager when we couldn't get the pilot going), comfy couches. Only perceivable downside was dining room seating (house sleeps 8, but only 6 dining chairs- cleaned off a deck chair and carried on!), and that one more comfy chair for the living room would have been nice to stretch out a little more. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful & spacious house by the sea

Very nice house, I plan to rent it out again but for a longer stay in the future. I really recommend the house is spacious and has a great view perfect for family vacation. Didn’t use the tub but wish I did but I had a great time.

Pros: The house is spacious and the website description is accurate. Cons: Our check-in was delayed by 25 min. Our request to allow us to checkout at 10:25 am instead of 10 am was declined by Vacasa. The floors upstairs were not cleaned properly - they were sandy and dirty, probably cleaned in a hurry (if at all). The toaster was not working. The facet in the kitchen was leaking - there was water all over the counter.

family visit

Very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable seating. Lots of extras for our enjoyment. Path to ocean is a stone's throw away. Steep stairs to living level of the house and bare floors didn't work for our big old dog so he ended up staying home.
