"Our first room had a terrible odor that was unbearable for me. It smelled to me like cat pee, and the front desk said they didn't allow cats, but that is what it smelled like. It was overwhelming. I asked for a room change, and they finally accommodated us on our second day at check-in time (3 pm). (They stated that the odor was from someone smoking in an adjacent room. Definitely not a smoke odor.) They told me a room number for the second room, but the key card didn't work. Looked at the key sleeve, and it was the same room but on the second floor. I went to that room, and the key worked for that room. Moved all of our stuff to the new room on the second floor(no elevator), and no sooner got settled than there was a knock at the door. The front desk guy gave us the wrong room. We had to move all of our stuff back down to the original room that he told me about first. The next day, our key cards didn't work, and we had to get them reactivated. The property was not well-maintained, and the exterior of the property was littered and not maintained. There were people parked in the lot the entire night who hung out in their car at night and then used the outside outlets to charge their electronic devices in the morning. They were possibly living out of their car, which was parked in the hotel lot. Sad about our experience here. We wanted to leave, but were told they couldn't refund our money because we used Expedia to book the room."
